Question about Rockwell Tablesaw 34-440 34-607 Front Trunnion Bracket 11a

Rockwell 10" Contractor's Saw 34-440

I inherited this table saw from my father in law but it has old 3prong plug which isnt going to work in my normal wall outlet. I understand that I need to install new wall outlet but I'm struggling to find the amperage on this table saw so I can get either the correct 20-amp or 30-amp breaker and corresponding 12ga or 10ga electrical wires. Can someone please help me figure out the amperage on this saw. It has a 1/2HP motor if that helps.

Looking for owners manuals for 2 saws

Your Delta radial arm saw (RS830) manual is here. Exploded diagram for parts, etc is here.

I'm not sure on the Rockwell, but here's a link to a manual for a Rockwell-Delta 10" Tilting Arbor Unisaw, circa 1969 which seems about right for a 34-466.

If that's not quite right, there a couple other manuals for old Rockwell saws here.

If this answer helped, please vote. Thanks!

On my fathers c10fl table saw the thermal breaker constantly trips, even under light loads. The saw is only 3 years old and has rarely been used. I have it plugged in directly to a 110/120 volt, 20 amp...

As a Contractor I always bypassed the on board breaker switch cause i found them to be a pain and always trippin. If you are concerned about burning up the motor i would just install an inline breaker like a GFI outlet. Please give a 4 thumbs up if you have found this free answer helpful. Good Luck and have a Great Day.

How do I align the saw blade with the saw table I have a 10 inch Delta Contractor's saw that is about 10 years old. The blade is not straignt with the miter slot. andyc@bergeralllied.com

The Blade Arbor is held to the bottom of the table with mounting screws and stop/adjusting screws. Loosen the mounting screw and adjust the stop screws to make Blade true with miter slot.
