Bad sound driver

Hi,
If you getting bad sound driver, its problem related to your sound driver. Check device manager that your system sound driver installed or not. If driver not installed, install it form your motherboard CD or download it form motherboard model official web site like Intel, gigabyte etc.

If driver installed already then uninstall them and reinstall again your sound driver will properly.

Thanks.

My soundcard isnt working on my computer is there a way i can fix it?

Hi,you can try this uninstall the sound card driver, then reboot your computer. When you reboot the computer the operating system will automatically reinstall the sound card driver.
This is how to uninstall the driver in windows 7,you didn't say what operating systyem you have so I'm hoping this helps.
Click start and open Control Panel by default the window will open in Category view (top right) click the arrow and slect Large icons.Once that is done look on that page for Device Manager and left click.
A new window will open called Device Manager, look for Sound,Video and game controlers and left click the arrow,You will see the installed Audio devices, right clicking the listed installed components will give the option to update or uninstall. After you finish uninstalling the driver or drivers reboot your computer windows will auto reinstall any needed drivers.I hope this has helped good luck.

How can I uninstall the legacy audio drivers from my HCL laptop? Please help!!

Hi,

Open the Device Manager. The easiest way to do this is to click the "Start" button in Windows and select "Run"; then type "devmgmt.msc" and enter.

Find the entry titled "Sound, video and game controllers" and expand it by clicking the small plus sign next to it.

Right-click on each Legacy audio driver on the list and select "Uninstall" from the available options in the pop-up menu. If "Uninstall" is not a viable option, it means that the new sound card or its drivers are not properly configured. You should try rebooting your computer once to fix this, but if you still cannot uninstall the Legacy drivers, you should consult the support resources for the specific sound card you've purchased.

Problem with sound

Hi,
Uninstall your sound device driver software from your system and reinstall them back using the driver cd which came along with your computer. This should fix your problem.

Note: if you dont have driver cd with you, then download the exact driver from your laptop manufacturer website before uninstalling the present driver.

Thanks.

Toshiba Satellite U305-S7448 PC Notebook doesn't recognize sound card

Hi, Right click on My computer and go to "Manage" from the left chose "device manager" on the right chose "sound, video, and game controllers"
when it drops down, double click on your sounds card. From there chose the driver tab. Click Uninstall. After Uninstalling the Driver restart the computer. Then follow the same steps to get back to your Driver page, and then chose the "Update Driver" and then let Windows Automatically search for the best driver on the internet. After you install the driver, a restart may be required.

Or your second option is after uninstalling the driver, open Windows Update and let Windows search for it there. This will not work if you have a driver installed though (unless there is an update to the driver you have installed) Thank you

MY HP SPEAKERS WILL NOT WORK AND NEITHER WILL THE HEADPHONES

Hi,

The simple and the only solution to this is reinstalling the sound card drivers.

Go to device manager > under sound video and game controllers
Right click on the IDT high def audio codec and uninstall it.

Also uninstall the connexant or th realtec audio driver
remember don't install the IDT codec back.. just reinstall the sound driver from the recovery manager > advance options > hardware driver installation.

Regards,
Anup
