The option for language (change) should be in settings.

then look for the word Sprache it is german for language once there do a reverse translation of the section online and print it's bit of a pain but it can be done

Well, that stinks. If you find out which language they changed it to, you could try an online dictionary to find the menu.

Hello there i am here to solve your problems. i will now lead you through the whole thing... First you press the menu button, then you go to the settings icon, you then choose the 4th option from the list, then another list comes up. you then choose the 6th option from that list and it will give you a list of languages. I have Brother DCP-130C all in one Printer.
When I installed the software I chose English as the language, but when i am scanning & when i go into printing preferences it seems to be in German. I un-installed & re-installed but still not in English.
Any ideas how I can change the language to english please?

Hello there. please do the following. press the menu button>press the screwdriver option>press the wrench with a brown file icon>go down 6 places from the top and select it> you will then see english at the bottom. hope i helped!

Hello there. i am afraid to tell you that you cannot download any additional language to the phone or anything else for that matter. however you can download mp3 files and pictures and that is the only exception.hope i helped
