If your pump #1 will not operate when it is supposed to it could be caused by a bad relay on the circuit board or it could be a bad motor.
check the voltage coming out of the relay when the pump is supposed to be on.
If you have the correct voltage then you have a bad motor.
If you have NO voltage coming out of the relay then you will need to replace the circuit board.
