This is what i did to make it work (by pure guesswork).
1. take the battery holder thing out.
2. see black arrow on side of battery holder, that needs to point toward the led end when you insert it.
3. Look at the end of the battery holder, at the end that will go in first when you insert it. On each end there is that silver metal circle that has some silver metal extensions that go straight across the bottom.
4. look into the flashlight toward the led end. See the green circular circuit board thing. You'll see that equally around that circular base, there are 4 little squares of metal right to the edge of the green base, equidistant around the green circle. Carefully insert the battery holder with the silver metal strip on the holder lined up so each end of that strip will touch one of the 4 little square metal things on the edge of the green circuit board. The goal is that when the battery holder is all the way in, the two metal extensions coming out from the little circular metal piece on the end of the battery holder will each touch one of the little square metal pieces on the green base.
5. Screw on the lid and click the end to turn on the light. I tried this two times and both times it worked. If it doesn't turn on you might want to try to reinsert it again and get it more carefully lined up.
Good luck.

How to change the liteum battery 40222

  1. Remove the tail cap: Turn the tail cap counterclockwise to loosen and remove it.
  2. Remove the old battery: Take out the old battery and dispose of it properly.
  3. Insert the new battery: Insert a fresh double A battery into the flashlight, making sure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends are facing the correct direction. The positive end of the battery should be facing the head of the flashlight.
  4. Replace the tail cap: Turn the tail cap clockwise to tighten and secure it.
It is important to use fresh, high-quality double A batteries in your Liteum 40222 flashlight to ensure optimal performance and to prevent damage to the flashlight. Make sure to dispose of the used batteries properly, following your local regulations and guidelines.

How to replace the lamp in a Mini Maglite

The Mini Maglite is a durable, compact flashlight. If your Mini Maglite stopped working, check or replace its two AA batteries first, and if that doesn't fix it, you'll probably need to replace the lamp. You can order replacement lamps in packs of two online, or you may be able to find them locally in a hardware store.

To replace the lamp in a Mini Maglite:

1. Unscrew the bottom of the flashlight. (Hold the flashlight with the head facing down so that the batteries don't fall out.)
2. Remove the batteries.
3. Unscrew the flashlight head from the barrel.
4. The lamp is mounted into the flashlight on two prongs; gently pull up on the lamp to remove it.
5. Install the new lamp by lining the prongs up with the two holes and slowly inserting it fully.
6. Screw the flashlight head back on.
7. Reinsert the batteries.
8. Screw the base back on.

When you've finished, turn the flashlight on (by turning the lens cover or the head counter-clockwise) to verify that the new lamp works. If the light doesn't come on, take the flashlight apart again and check to make sure the lamp is installed correctly and fully. Since the lamps come in packs of two, if you can't get the first lamp to work, try the second lamp in the pack. If that lamp doesn't work either, check your batteries and make sure the lens cover and head are both screwed on all the way.

Hi,

Please remove the memory card and hold the power button down for 15 seconds. If that does not turn the light off, please remove all batteries from your device. Please stay away from the power outlet where the camcorder was initially charging. Thank you.

LED Flashlight Battery Drain Problem

This particular flashlight uses a microchip that consumes the power of the batteries, whether in use or not. Loosen the case to where the batteries go in, so there is no contact with polarity. Or just take the batteries out completely and replace them for actual use.

My Vector Vec157 Flashlight won't Charge...

It is the battery, I have a similiar Vector light for a few years and tried re-charging the battery but only the little LED light would come on. I have another Vector light, same model and switched batteries from the worjking one to the non-working one and now it works fine.

I then proceeded to purchase a new battery for the non'working one and when I arrived home I installed it and turned on the main light, still won't turn on, I tried the LED's, they work. I figured maybe the new battery needs a good charge so I plugged the charger in and charged the light for 12 hours, still no main light.

I guess the new battery is defective, so now I will return it and exchange it for another one.
