When i plug in my oreck steam it mop, it keeps blowing the fuse

Make sure no other appliance is running at the same time. Some other appliance on the same house line is causing the fuse to overload. Example: If we have the space heater on in the bedroom and my wife tries to use her hair dryer then the fuse blows as they are both on the same circuit.

Hi my microwave is working perfectly ok apart from nothing is being heated is this a simple repair solution or ?

Hi , that seems the biggest problem for a micro wave. But not to worrry it can be a line fuse to the Magnetron. SSo disconnecct the power and check for a large fuse. if open replace. If not check on a high voltage capacitor fitted near to the magnetron, this can be faulty. replace .
there is also a temperature cut off sensor, it can be faulty and cut circuit off
Please take care not to touch any live parts, use a cup of water inside for trials.

Plugs in does not turn on

Unplug unit, separate front and rear panels by removing screws. There is a small in-line thermal fuse 192 C (192 degrees celcius). It may or may not look burned, mine wasn't. It can be replaced with little difficulty with right tools (no soldering necessary). Check at Radio Shack first then with wholesale elctronics distributor, where I found one close (228C). Cost about $2.00. Good Luck.. Old Geezer

My daughter purchased a Steam iron Make

Don a thermo fuse can generally be bought at an electronics parts store or Radio Shack type outlet in the hobby parts area. Like any other fuse they are rated specific to the requirement of the appliance, do NOT use a higher temp one.. If you have warranty, ( likely 1 year???), return the iron, If you replace it, it is generally an in line crimp. I would only attempt it once as the iron may be defective.

I turn it on and nothing happens

there are usually two saefty devices in the vacuum motor ... one is an overtemp resetable fuse .. if the motor gets too hot (lack of air flow) then this temporarily trips .. the machine wont work until it has cooled .. the second line of defense is a perminant thermal fuse (looks like a bullit) .. if the first resetable fuse fails or if the motor gets way too hot then the perminant fuse trips (sometimes they just go bad) .. thats usually rather difficult to get to .. its mounted inside the motor or on the motor if you are lucky .. inside its burried in the windings ... often the motor is just replaced instead of trying to dig out and replace the imbedded thermal fuse .. you could also have a bad switch or broken wire at either end of the line cord .. that happens frequently at the plug if the cord is pulled to unplug it .. you can try pushing the wire into the plug to see if it comes on .. if that works then you must install a new plug .

DeWalk DC500 wet/dry vaccum doesn't work

Vacuum works with the battery but does not work with 120 volt. Every time I plug it in it blows the internal fuse. I have replaced the fuse inside the vaccum several times and every time i plug it in it blows. What do you think it could be?

Shark floor steamer: Does not produce any steam and no lights are on.

Hi All
Shark steamer that the light is not on and will not heat up. I have found that there is a in line slow blow fuse in side. replace this fuse IF you can find one and the steamer will work. If you let the unit run dry and leave the unit on it will get hot and blow the fuse!
I am looking for the fuse myself. good luck! Dan FL.
