Red and green flashing together

That means that the Monitor unit has to be re-sync'd to the remote sensor. First, check that the remote sensor (mounted on the garage door) has a good battery. If so, then the monitor unit just needs to be paired. There is a small button on the inside Monitor unit (hole near where the power cord goes in). Press the small button with a toothpick or something similar and the unit will enter programming mode. Now open and close the door that the sensor is mounted on and it will then pair the two.

I have a problem with the door monitor for my Craftsman 1/2 HP 315MHz garage door opener. I recently had my garage door changed and now the monitor indicates the door is open when it is closed and closed...

It sounds like the sensor on the top section of the door may be mounted upside down. If you can, remount it right side up, and see if that corrects if the problem. If not, contact me directly.

Is liftmaster control compatible with sear-craftman 139-53635SRT model?

Liftmaster and Craftsman are both made by Chamberlain Mfg. Co. Some controls are compatible and some are not the same as some Craftsman controls are compatible with that model number and some are not. The Liftmaster/Chamberlain control that works with that model opener is 81LM.

I have a liftmaster garage door opener - the door opens fine but I have to hold the enter key or wall button until the door closes.

By holding down the wall button you are bypassing the photo sensing safety eyes. Look at them at the bottom of the track. Both should have an led light on them and both should be lit. If not try to realign them. If this does not work look at the actual sensors and the wiring for damage. You can test these with a 9v battery. If they are not good you can get replacement units at chamberlain.com, they are sold in pairs. Thanks. BB

There is no fuse in your opener. The logic board is very susceptible to power surges. You can pull it and check for burnt or missing traces on the printed circuit.

Can I use a liftmaster remote for a craftsman opener?

Yes. If you go to this website it will cross reference between Craftsman and Chamberlain/Liftmaster.

CHAMBERLAIN WILL NOT RESPOND TO REMOTES FROM STREET.

Sounds like "cross talk" interfence from the other operator. You can get a plugin external reciever that should work with your current remotes. Try to get as much distance as you can between the working operator and the new reciever.
