Question about Pioneer CDJ-1000 CD Player
Hi. accidently I dropped my cdj pioneer 1000 from less than 1 meter high. It was placed in a stiff case with sponges inside. However - since the drop - the cue function doesn't work well - it doesn't remember the actual cued point and even skips to different tracks. In addition - the function of the A,B,C hot cue section doesn't work properly - If i wish to program button B it refers to button C... help would be appreciated. TNX

the faulty button will not stop it from playing well... replacing them is not hard so long as you have some experience with a soldering iron.
Clean the laser lens with a cotton bud wet with windex... then use a dry one to be sure no residue is left. If it still mistracks... new optics required!. You willl need a pioneer service agent to do this for you. A little complex for the first timer :)

There is no other option than cleaning.
The player must be taken apart to clean those knobs and housing.

cue button sticking sounds like the button on the pcu board needs replaced, I would clean all the foam stuff of if possible, as for the screen not working sound like some of your wires have come unconnected easy fixed just plug them back on to the pcu board
