I have a Packard bell easynote R1000 laptop and I reset my computer and now I have lost my wireless connection icon. How can I retrieve it and connect to my wireless connection again?

Try to go to START - Control Panel - Network Connections and from there you should see somewhere where you could connect to a network

Wired or wireless? If wireless try a Ethernet cable to eliminate the wireless device. If wireless connection, is your wireless adapter enabled? Driver in working order? Update driver or roll back driver? Have you updated the laptop?

WHY CAN'T I GET THE WIRELESS KEY TO WORK


It's probably the wrong key. Try logging in to the router from a computer already connected to the network and see what the encryption key is, or just reset/resetup the router.

you have to install the original windows in able to perform the computer well and to work the driver properly, sometimes if you install the pirated xp windows the driver wont work properly specially the wireless network.
you can find the driver thru the internet dell website.
