Over the past couple of days I seem to have lost my taste buds. I have had a new set of dentures made recently to which I have had the odd mouth and tongue ulcers, could this be the cause?

fixya site is not a medical forum so any advice should be sought from your doctor

I have a lump on the side of my tongue that has been there for months, but has lately turned white and is very sore. Is his something I need to worry about?

It's curious that you would go on an internet site to find out when we can neither see the problem, nor are most any of us qualified to provide an answer for a potential dangerous health issue such as you described.
You should go to see a health care professional for correct diagnosis of the lump you described. An urgent care facility may be able to guide you to potential further diagnosis.
Above all, don't wait - if it does turn out to be a serious condition, early detection can save your life.
