Loose cable vax power 3


Try 'tightening' the screws first even if just a bit. This can possibly break them loose so you can remove them with the normal counter-clockwise motion.

No suction through main part but working ok throgh hose


Check for a clog in the power head where the intake is. It could be just behind the brush, or by detaching the hose from the powerhead, in that area. It's fairly a common problem since the opening is a bit small.
Remove the clog and suction returns.

No suction on carpet


make sure the brush is spinning and also make sure u there is not a clog right behind the canister when you detach it from the vacuum itself
