Question about Nikon Coolpix 5600 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Lines and washed out pictures

I have a nikon coolpix 5600 and have had it for about a year. At first is worked well with good quality pictures. I cannot remember dropping it or doing anything to it which would cause a change but now when i take a picture horizontal lines appear. If I take a picture outside during the day the picture looks washed, with no bright colours even though I have the vivid or standard colour option selected. I have also put it on daylight mode, and tried others but always with the same result. Also sometimes flourescent colours apprear in pictures. Any ideas?

You no need to fix this problem. This is a CCD failure and in some cases had been subject to a recall. Contact Nikon support-this may be one of the recalls and replacement camera could be on its way. They will do it for free of cost.

I Have a Nikon 5600 and it wont take pictures

Make sure you have either a fully charged batteries or a new batteries.
Could be some internal problems such as loose connections.
Camera sounds like it needs repair. Repair for this camera, due to age may be beyond what you would want to spend.

Blurred pictures in auto mode

it is probably a camera shake problem. Consider using a tripod. Also, using higher ISO helps..Using flash helps too.
