Best go to a carby repair shop that handles you carby and explain what you wish to achieve. They will have the right size jets. Failing the repair shop try a speed specialist shop as they may have contacts for you.

I have 99 f6 with 6-6 pipes if I remove baffles do I have to rejet

If you remove the baffles, you will effectively be running open pipes. This will cause your bike to run lean. So yes, you will need to rejet.

2000 legend 900, new t o me. Backfires flame out of the exhaust. It looks like aftermarket pipes. Should I rejet or go back to original exhaust?

well if you like the sound and looks of the aftermarket pipe then rejetting would be the best thing to do to solve the problem and to keep the performance and sound. if you are not wanting to deal with the rejetting then the easiest fix would be to put the stock pipe back on. if you need more help or info just ask.

If you went to a less restrictive exhaust and didnt rejet and the bike is popping its running to lean. Need to rejet the carbs when you open up the exhaust.

Put on vance and hines slips...did not rejet.. runs good...problem is after a few miles on freeway then exiting...bikes dies @ idle.. is it too hot? too lean and causing it to cut out? or could i just need...

You MUST rejet the bike!!! When cold or warming up the bike should be running in a rich mode. After it warms up you are running lean. Cheaper to rejet than replace "hole in the top of pistons".
To help prevent more problems in the future, find who ever told you that rejetting was not required, turn them around, take your right foot and kick their @#$. This could save you lots of grief and $$ in the future.

i changed my pipe on 07 dt125lc and did not rejet, seemed fine until i holed a piston. best to rejet me thinks, about £20 instead of £150 for piston rebore bearings and jets plus the time to re build.

Fuel question

I replied...Then he went on to tell me I have to get the bike rejetted...On cars you only rejet carberators...How do I rejet/configure my bike if I decide to get exhaust and intake? on a fuel injected bike you get a fuel mapper (kinda like putting a chip in a car) cobra makes a decent one that's reasonably priced. it changes the parameters in your ecu to accomodate the pipes and intake,
