Question about RCA VR5320R 1GB Voice Recorder Digital
I have had my recorder for about a month. I recorded some files on March 18 and on April 24 I went to listen to them, they played fine. I was able to get one file onto my computer. I decided to quit and listen to my files on recorder. The next day It showed a low battery message I changed the batteries and now it shows my recordings, but it will not play them and it will not allow me to record anything else. I push record the red light comes on and the timer comes on but it wont do anything. I hit stop and it says it recorded for 1 second. I cannot delete files either. And when I plug the device into my computer, nothing happens. Windows and Linux neither one recognize the device. I hit play, I hear a "popping" sound but nothing happens. I need to at least get these files off of the flash memory does anyone have any suggestions or ideas. Even if I take it apart can I still put the memory in a card reader or something? Thanks

I reccommend live service with me, but I can definitely help. Please mark this as solved and we will arrange a time to work setup out. The question should be marked as solved because the one ANSWERABLE question, about the DVD being recorded, is NO, unless it is a home movie. Not only is it illegal, but also VERY difficult to do. and your equip is not cabable. Thanks!

Need to make sure you have the red, white, and yellow rca connection cables ran from the samsung dvd player to the red, white, yellow input on the back of the dvd recorder. Once you do that make sure you put your dvd recorder on line 1 input. If you look closely on the back of your recorder it should say line 1 input. If your recorder isn't on that input you can put the recorder on line 1 input by using dvd recorder remote and pushing the input button. Make sure you don't push the tv input button the dvd recorder remote there should be a seperate input button or a way to toggle the inputs on the recorder. Once you verify all that turn on your tv and go to the input on your tv that you watch the dvd recorder on and you should see what your recording on the tv.

SOURCE: I have a RCA VR5320R
Your best bet is to play the recordings through the headphone connector
to a pc audio line-in connector and capture the audio using something
like Audacity. Then output them using audacity to mp3 to play on your
These units are notorious for their failing USB feature.
