I have the same problem as 'Can't acces [sic] mass storage'

Bought my son's wife a bushnell binocular. Take a picture, connect to pc's usb, upload fine. Put in 2 Gig sandisk sd, take a picture, connect to pc's usb, says the binocular's disk is unformatted. Format the disk. Copy other .jpg's to and from the disk. This proves the sd is ok??? Remove from the pc. Take a picture. Connect again. Says the disk is unformatted!! Tried a different sd, same results. Are only some sd's compatible with the bushnell? Which ones? Or do i have a defective bushnell?

The Bushnell website says model 11-8321 cannot use an SD card larger than 512MB. (Look under Customer Service, ImageView FAQs.) That's the bottom line. Period.

Re: I have the same problem as 'Can't acces [sic] mass...

Problem is unit will not work with an SD disk over 512MB. For some reason if the SD Card is 1GB or larger you will receive the message the card needs formatting. Verified this after many hours of trying to get 1 and 2GB cards to work. Used 512MB cards or less and the camera works perfectly. Originally got this info from a tech support facility that does support for Bushnell.

I had the same problem too using a 1GB , I also had a 256MB and it works in the Bushnell Binocular. Thanks to the other senders with solutions. I am just verifying it does have a problem with a card 1Gb & larger & a smaller card fixes the problem.

The manual of jason 200x telescope

Bushnell purchased Jason in 1992, they can refer you to a manual for similar products that they currently manufacture.
Bushnell Corporation
9200 Cody
Overland Park, KS 66214-1734
Important Phone Numbers:
In Kansas City area - (913) 752-3400
Consumers - (800) 423-3537
Dealers - (800) 221-9035
Fax - (913) 752-3550
There is no reference to Jason scopes on their website, here's some of the history if your interested: Jake Levin founded Jason/Empire, Inc. in 1947. Jake and his son,
****, started the business by importing binoculars from France, as
well as cigarettes and pearls from the Orient. The product was sold
to jewelry stores and catalog showrooms. The company's name was
created by shortening the name of Jake and Son, to get Jason. Empire
was the name of a brand of products the company sold. Jason's
original location was on the 8th floor of a building at 12th and
Walnut in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The company later moved to
a facility in Kansas City on Warwick Boulevard. As the business
continued to grow, **** was responsible for the expansion and
evolution of the binocular and telescope business into a major
competitor in the U.S. Sports optics market.
Carson Companies, Inc. of Minneapolis acquired Jason/Empire, Inc. in
1977. In 1987, Jason introduced the Perma Focus binocular. This
patented binocular eliminated the need for focusing and revolutionized
the binocular industry. GlassOn, the first binocular exclusively for
eyeglass wearers, was introduced in 1991. The eyeglass wearer could
obtain a wide angle, full field of view when using the binoculars
while wearing eyeglasses. Other innovations included: the graphite
binocular, upscale consumer packaging, **** packaging, the Easy
Track telescope mount, and the telescope dual-position diagonal

In 1992, Bausch & Lomb a.k.a. Bushnell, purchased Jason from Carlson
Companies and moved the sports optics operation to the current
facility in Overland Park, Kansas. The name of the division was
changed from Bushnell to Bausch & Lomb Sports Optics Division.

Bausch & Lomb divested the Sports Optics Division in 1995 and Bushnell
became a wholly owned subsidiary of Worldwide Sports & Recreation, Inc
(WSR). WSR was a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of
brand name sporting goods and outdoor-recreational products.

Since then, Bushnell has changed hands again and the Jason name has
been discontinued. It is no longer used in new products produced by
Bushnell and many of the more popular models were simply rebranded as
Bushnell models.

PC does not recognize Bushnell USB camera

Do other USB devices become acknowledged automatically via UPnP (Universal Plug and Play; Ie stick it in and it says its found). if not this would indicate a problem with your USB drivers

I can't acces to the mass storage

take your sd card and see if u can just plain drap and drop anything into it...while its pluged into the puter. text , pictures ...its just a storage device, then try to read it back. if so your sd card is fine, if in dought u can go to wallmart and plug it in at the camerea department free just to review your pictures..if nothing on it your card or write is bad on the binoculars, also dont use there software treat it as exrernal hard drive. like f or g or h select my computer and look for it then see if can find your pictures. if so u can drag all out to a folder on your c drive crazylarry
