I had a Acer Aspire AM5620-E5301A computer. I bought a upgrade software Vista Ultimate to install on my computer. I did not want to use windows anytime upgrade to download the software. When installing Ultimate software it goes to the enter key, works OK. Than I came to choose either custom or upgrade buttons. But the upgrade button is grey out, can not push it to pick that one. Custom button works OK, but I do not want to apply for clean start, to re-format the hard drive. Why I can not use the upgrade button to finish install the rest of Ultimate.

- I decided to go back to factory setting on Acer Desktop. Re-load it back-up files and install Windows Vista Ultimate on my system. Windows SP1 update was the problem, it did not allow my version of store bought Ultimate to be install. Install factory backup, Vista Home Premium was on it. Than install Vista Ultimate software for the next step. Update my Windows Ultimate for the finish steps. d_carriere1
