My TV died this morning (by 5 users)

I've had the Emerson EWL3706 37in. LCD TV for 10 months - and it's worked great up until this morning. Without any warning sign, it just quit working. It was plugged into a surge protector, and the DVD and VCR are also plugged into the same surge protector and they both are still working fine. I removed the TV from the entertainment center and tried it in another outlet in the house and it still doesn't work. There is no indication that it is getting power whatsoever. The power cord it is in great condition, and it was not "stressed" in anyway while it was in the entertainment unit. If anyone has any idea of what may have caused this, how to fix it, ANYTHING, it would be greatly appreciated.

yes my tv just stopped working witjout warning etc no power no lights etc surge protector was used the tv is about 1 year old at best?

My Emerson EWL3706 just died Back up Tv works fine. Any solutions or troubleshooting suggestions before I call service center. 10 months old, no concerns before this. No surges.

Sounds like a power issue with the unit you will have to call the customer suppport line and have them refer you to an authorized dealer or send it back to them.

My tv keeps blowing fuses for no apperant reason.I have an Emerson37inch. Has a model number of EWL3706A.My tv is only 13 months old. There has not been any power surges or any electrical shocks. Everything that was plugged in with it works fine.
