SOURCE: connecting rod bolt torque and cam to crank timing
Rod bolt torque is 150 INCH POUNDS - - NOTE: INCH POUNDS NOT FOOT POUNDS
Valve timing is generally performed by matching either a dot or dash mark on the cam gear with a dash or dot on the crankshaft gear. If your engine has a ball bearing, the mark would be located on the crankshaft counter-balance. It is important that the marks match, EXACTLY. One mark will be on the top of a tooth on the gear, the corresponding mark will be found on the bottom of a tooth on the other gear.
