In what respect? ("Is my motherboard pooched?")

Does the motherboard still work?

As for CPU-Z, and Intel B.I.T. not recognizing it, it may be because support for Windows XP is ending soon.

Still works on my WinXP Home though. 32-bit, and old build.

Aliens,.......................that's what it is........Came in the middle of the early morning while you were asleep, and thought they would mess with you.

("Bahahahaha,...with this old mind experiment ray, we'll fool Kelly into thinking CPU-Z doesn't work............Next we'll convince Kelly that Kelly is Brad Pitt..........won't Angelina be surprised! )

NO...........You gonna' believe that last one? Sheesh!

SOURCE: Computer Information

U may always refer to it motherboard to get to know the supported hardware that plug to it. Since u are mention about Intel 945G/GZ/P/PL family motherboard, each type of the motherboard (type G, GZ, P, PL) have their own specification, but the same thing is their are design to support Intel Core 2 Duo. Pentium D or Pentium 4 processor. And all can support DDR2 memory. Here you can refer to the manual of the motherboard for more details e.g. pg17 (availability 2009Nov16): http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets/datashts/307502.htm

SOURCE: So I want to replace

Sorry, but with a laptop computer you're stuck using the original board. It's the only one that will fit into the case and work with the display. Laptop computers aren't like desktops, where just about any motherboard can fit the case.

I want a motherboard jumper setting table

You'll need to open the case on your PC; locate the manufacturer name and model number of the motherboard and then use an online search engine by typing in <motherboard> (without the arrows) with the model number. You should be able to find a manual from third party sources or by going to the manufacturer's website to see if the manual is archived.

You can locate the MOBO information at either one of these locations:
  • RAM slots
  • CPU socket
  • or between the PCI slots
MOBO model numbers are usually a collection of numbers and letters between 5 and 7 digits long.

If you have a problem located the model number and manufacturer:

Run the utility; depending on the speed of your processor, it could take seconds or about a minute to pull up the info. <Click> on the mainboard tab, it'll list the manufacturer's name and model number of the MOBO.

A third way to locate MOBO information, Open the <RUN> dialog box from the start menu or by pressing the windows icon key and the letter R simultaneously.

Type <MSinfo32> (without the arrows) and press <enter>

The BIOS ID will be displayed- sometimes manufacturer info and model number will be displayed.

If not, you will be able to determine the BIOS as being either AWARD or AMI (American Megatrends, Inc.); and from there, be able to decode the ID number to a specific manufacturer.

  • AWARD: first five digits indicate the chipset & the following two digits identifies the manufacturer; you'll have to go online and search who that two digit manufacturer is.
  • AMI: the MOBO manufacturer is Identified by the last four digits in the third group of numbers.

How do i find my product

If you need to identify your motherboard (the model number), you can do one of the below three things.
Identifying through Windows or other utility
Documentation
Visually identifying
If you're trying to identify the motherboard for any of the reasons below, view these links for additional related information.
Motherboard form factor
Chipset or driver update
Product Listing or specifications
Replacement or repair
Identifying through Windows or other utility
First option is to view the manufacturer and model number in your Windows system, using the System Information utility. To access this utility, follow the steps below.
1.Click Start
2.Open All Programs, Accessories, System Tools and click System Information.
This utility provides a good bit of information about your computer. On the System Summary screen, you will find the motherboard manufacturer (System Manufacturer) and motherboard model (System Model). For example, for a computer with a MSImotherboard, the manufacturer would be MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL and a System Model of MS-7599. The Model is the model number of the motherboard.
Note: If your computer is an OEM computer, such as a Dell or Hewlett Packard, the model number may be the model number of your computer and not motherboard. For these computers, we suggest referring to the technical documentation for the model of the computer. These documents can be downloaded directly from the computer manufacturer.
Documentation
The documentation or technical notes for your computer or motherboard also include the motherboard information. PDF versions of these documents can be downloaded from thecomputer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer website.
Visually identifying
Finally, every computer motherboard has a silk screened name of the model and the manufacturer printed on the motherboard. For example, in the picture below, this motherboard has the model name printed above the memory slots. Click the image below to get a larger view of this picture.

Tip: If you are unable to locate a manufacturer or model number of the motherboard, but are able to locate an FCC identification number, it is recommended that you perform an FCC search using that number. Additional information about FCC numbers and how to search for information about an FCC number can be found on our FCC dictionary definition page.

Labelled diagram of cpu

Intel doesn't give a diagram of their Processors.
Trade secret you know.

If they did everyone would start building CPU's, lol.

OH!

I see you're confused.
Well lets straighten this out, and for people you run into in the future;

CPU = Central Processing Unit
Another term used is Microprocessor, or simply Processor for short.
DOES NOT mean personal computer.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Processing_Unit

See why that is?
You posted -> "labeled diagram of cpu", then Intel Celeron 2.80GHz

Computer technology is an exacting science, with exacting terms.
If you wish to communicate correctly, so all parties know what you're talking about, use the correct terminology.

Feel better?

I'm assuming you want the pinouts for the motherboard.
Front Panel header, Front USB headers, etc.
Problem is your sparse information, as to what motherboard you are referring to.

No, not an admonishment, but helpful advice.

I either need to know the Manufacturer name (Intel?), and Model Number, (On the motherboard); or the computer manufacturer and model number of the desktop computer, the motherboard came out of.

The model number is on the back of the computer, next to the Windows product key; or up on the side of the computer tower.
(I have seen some where there is a Door in the Front Panel, and you open the Door, look inside, and down)

Intel Celeron 2.80GHz is a Processor, not a direct reference to a motherboard.
Neither is Intel CPU428CEL.
(FixYa staff needs to change that)

Post back in a Comment.

I need schematic for intel e210882 mother board

I think maybe the model number provided is incorrect.
What you are looking for is a barcode with an AA number on it. You need to provide the first six digits after AA, this way we can properly identify your board.

More information here:
http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/cs-009009.htm

E210882 is a number that is printed on intel boards but does not indicate the model number.M

The drivers can be obtained through the manufacturer's website. As far as the serial number, it should be stamped somewhere on the board or on a sticker affixed to the board.

I need a diaqgram for the intel e210882

Can i have the Board model? i don't think that intel e210882 is a model number.

"
There are several numbers (such as E210882, D33025, N232, ICES-003 and 2LI) printed directly on Intel desktop boards that are not indicative of board model. These numbers represent regulatory or industry specification codes and cannot be used to identify your board."

Here's the intel site that can help you identify your board model: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-009009.htm

let me know if this help of not.
