Question about Computers & Internet
Suggest download AND install the Audio driver, from the laptop manufacturer's support website.
Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device
The device in question is the Audio chipset.
What version of Windows operating system that is used, has not been stated.
I need the laptop manufacturer name;
Jack in the Box
(NO,.........you gonna' believe that last one? lol!)
I also need the Model Number. This can be found on the Bottom of the laptop. (-> NOT S/N. That is the Serial Number)
I also need to know what Windows operating system you are using.
Please post back in a Comment.
Then I can guide you step by step, in downloading AND installing the correct Audio driver.
(I will also guide you in reinstalling the Volume icon, back to your taskbar. The taskbar is at the bottom of the screen. Has the Time in it. The Volume icon is a small speaker icon. Round circle with smaller round circle in the middle )
