A few tries, go to the apple in the top left and choose SYSTEM PREFERENCES....it should bring you to:

f002663.png

In the HARDWARE row you should see DISPLAYS. Select that and you will be at:
0ceaf58.png

You have the DETECT DISPLAYS button, and also CLICK the "Show displays in menu bar" box, so you dont have to keep going through menus to configure.

If you look at the F7 key, to the right of the NUM LOCK key (F6), that key allows you to switch from expanded to mirroring or vice versa.

You can also check Apple's Knowledge base....

Usb dongle is not working

Step 1:
A Bluetooth dongle is an external Bluetooth device used to enable your PC's Bluetooth connection. Many Bluetooth dongles come without installation disks since the software is pre-programmed into the actual USB stick. These Bluetooth dongles are very useful on netbooks that don't have Bluetooth connection, since netbooks have no CD-Rom drives. Turn on your PC. Insert the USB Bluetooth dongle into the USB port on your desktop tower, or the USB ports located on the perimeter of your laptop. Wait for the program to auto run. Once you connect your dongle, the driver program should launch. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the dongle. A dialogue box should open that says "Installing Drivers" from the taskbar. Allow the driver to install completely before closing the box. Unplug the dongle and restart your PC. Once the PC has been switched on, insert the dongle. Double-click "My Bluetooth Places." This is the Bluetooth icon located in your taskbar, and it should launch the "Initial Bluetooth Configuration Wizard." Click "Next" on the first screen. Next, type in the name of your computer and select your computer type from the drop-down menu, then click "Next." Click "Skip" on the onscreen prompts, then finish. Pairing the Devices Turn on your external Bluetooth device. Double-click "My Bluetooth Places." Select "Find Bluetooth Devices." The name your Bluetooth device should display in the next window. Right click the icon for your Bluetooth device, and scroll down to "Pair Device." Enter the Bluetooth pin code for your external device in the "Bluetooth Pin Code Request" pop-up window. Then click "OK." The default pin code is normally "0000" or "12345." You can find your pin code in your user manual. If you are pairing a cell phone to your PC, you will have to enter the same pin code on your cell phone to establish the Bluetooth connection.

My pc window can not recognize mp3 player

Hello

Connect your Sansa MP3 player to more than one USB port on your computer. Ensure that your computer USB port is not corrupt or disabled by testing at least two available ports. This is especially useful when you possess no other USB-based equipment.

Inspect your USB ports' status to ensure they are enabled on your computer. Right-click "My Computer" and launch "Properties" to verify the availability of such connections. Select "Device Manager" from the Hardware tab and click the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" from the list shown. If a red "X" is shown, the USB ports are disabled.

Ensure your computer is updated by clicking "Start" and launching "Windows Update" from the Programs menu. Alternatively, inspect your USB port connectivity through your motherboard BIOS settings. Note that BIOS access and settings varies by mother board manufacturer.

Scan your computer for new hardware changes. From the Device manager, click the "Action" menu and select "Scan for hardware changes" while your Sansa MP3 player is connected. Allow your computer to attempt to find any physical component recently added in the event it failed to previously detect it.

Connect your Sansa player to a different computer. Test the connection on a different system's USB port to verify that the Sansa device's own connection has not been damaged. Inspect the USB ports on the computer in question as well to eliminate the possibility of both systems having problematic USB ports.

Change your Sansa MP3 player's USB plug. Sometimes the head of the plug may lose contact with the appropriate circuits. Obtain a secondary USB port at your local retail store and test it on an updated computer system.

I can not able to connect my phone with pc suite so please give me assisitan

Hi,

The solution provided below will definately be of great help to you

1.Locate the mini-USB port on your phone. This is usually found on the left or right side of the phone, so look there before checking the top or bottom

2.
Use a standard size mini-USB to connect the phone to the computer. Plug the end of the small cord into the phone's mini-USB port and then plug the big end into a standard-size USB port on your computer.

3.
Install drivers which are locatrd on the pc suite of your phone Once your phone is connected physically, a software link must also be made. Your computer will not automatically recognize your phone, and a window will pop up asking if you want to install some drivers. Click the "yes" or "OK" button to continue.

4.
A status window will pop up once your OS has found suitable drivers. Once the status window fills up, your computer will be ready to interact with your phone. The phone should now be charging. Check the phone screen to make sure.

5.
Install any relevant software. Branded smartphones from Palm, BlackBerry and Motorolla all have specific software that comes bundled with the phones. Once the software is installed, you can launch it and interact further with your phone

Good luck!!

When i ture my bluetooth something popup that you must set bd address please help me

Hi,
The address isn’t something that can be set, that’s a MAC address - it’s the unique identifier for the bluetooth chip on the phone (all network cards have them).
I would hazard a guess that either your bluetooth stack on the phone is goosed or the chipset itself.
OR
Try this:
Turn the Bluetooth Off, disconnect it from the PC, turn it on, re-connect it to the PC.
Go Start -> (All) Programs -> QPST -> QPST Configuration.
Click on the PORTS tab.
Bluetooth Address:
Since you upgraded the phone, you already have the usb drivers.
Now, launch the QPST configurator.
Click on "add new port"
Type the port number your phone is using now. (you put it COM5, COM10, etc, its just one example) -----------------If you already added your port in QPST then skip this.
Now, launch the NV editor, maximize the window.
on connect, select the com port, and press connect server.
press the file button and select upload all from mobile
Then, press the search button, and type "447"
Move the file to the "selected" window.
Once you double click it, in another window you will see loads of firlds with 0
Change the to 1, all of them.
also, change the string value to "true"
Now, you press the "file" button and press "download selected & active to mobile"
Disconnect the server, close the program, unplug the phone, and restart the phone.
Now, try to enable the bluetooth.

Remember, once you do the 6th image step, you go to connection and select disconnect server.
All fixed!

Good Luck & Thanks,
Shiv.

Acer Orbicam does not work anymore

Sounds like a driver went astray.
Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

Pc willnot installmedia manage , says encountered problem and has to close.it has installedpc suite

To install Nokia PC Suite, before starting remove the old Nokia PC Suite (if installed), via the Start/Settings/Add or remove programs.
Unplug USB cable.
Restart PC.
Download latest Nokia PC Suite v6.86.9.0 do not install from the CD provided in the box. It's out of date by the time you buy a phone.
When installed do a restart, 2 is even better.
Then open Nokia PC Suite and follow the instructions to connect your phone. Only connect your USB when prompted.
Give it plenty of time to connect the Nokia software is slow.

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE TIME!

This phone is usually part of an office system such as KXTEA308E

Here is a link to more details including a brochure in pdf to download. see sample below :

5. Programming
The Getting Started Guide gives clear instructions as to basic programming via a KX-T7730 system-phone. To enter the program mode with a KX-T7730 simply press the programme button followed by * # and your password. However, one of the interesting aspects of this system is the ability to use a PC to configure the system. Windows based software is supplied with the system. You simply load the software and connect to your PC via a USB port. The USB lead is not supplied with the system.
