Question about Kenmore HE2t 3.7 cu. ft. Front Load Washer

Lights flashing during cycle

All the lights flash on the front of the machine during the cycle its not the same place each time. There is no error code. After it gets done flashing it tries to resume the cycle, sometimes it starts flashing again, sometimes it finishes the cycle. There is no code flashing so I don't know where to start looking for the problem. I have cleaned the filter near the pump and it didn't have much in it.

Any further ideas on this problem. The filter is clean. I replaced the pressure switch and the water inlet valves and nothing has changed. I caught a video of it the other day. It is sideways but you get the idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRi-GkWHT...

It has been some time. Disconnect the main washer plug from the wall. Remove the back of machine as shown in some y tube videos. Disconnect the main connector to the motor and reconnect again. This should be done with all connectors; it just could be that there is some loose connection somewhere, disrupting the functioning of the machine. Good luck. Remember mains off first.

This should take 30 minutes: Remove the panel that is located below the front door, there are 3 small screws located at the bottom that hold this... you will see the water pump, which has a access screw plug. Unscrew this, its like a filter, you may see stuff, like coins, socks, etc, remove and clean out, then put everything back... this should fix the issue.
Before you re-fit the filter check to see that the blades of the pump further inside are turning well - no blocks. If the prob still persists you must examine pump.

I had already cleaned the filter before posting here. The pump seems to be fine, the impellers are not broken as in the youtube video. The problem is very intermittent, I went a week without having a problem, then yesterday it started up again.

Rattling noise in spin, spin problems becoming more pronounced. control panel lights flash but 0 error codes. unplug 2 reset, probl repeats

If this noise is happening while it's trying to drain water then you have something floating around in the lump. Coins are very common. If the noise is happening during a spin cycle and more pronounced during the final high spin cycle, you have bearing or spin tub issues. Time to go shopping.

Lg washing machine suddenly stop during washing

It would help to know at what stage the machine stops, however, lete me take a blind guess that it stops just before the spin cycle. If I'm guessing wrong, please tell us when the machine stops and if it displays an error code or any flashing lights (Please note WHICH lights flash and the number of times they flash, as this is an error code that will help pin the problem down).

If I'm right, then........

This is almost certainly a simple problem with your empty pump filter being clogged. The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum.

You need to locate and clean the filter. Depending on the model (not familiar which with the model you mention) there is probably a round filter cap on the front of the machine at the bottom (It may be behind a small door or hidden behind a clip on panel on the bottom)

Machine stopped mid cycle and green light flashing under green start button

Many modern washing machines display error codes if they detect a fault, but not all washing machines display a readable error code, some indicate an error by flashing, or lighting some of the lights.

Hotpoint, Indesit, Zanussi error codes

Hotpoint, Indesit washing machines and Zanussi washing machines are some common appliances that display coded error codes. On their more expensive models, they display readable error codes but basic models (without digital displays) use flashing lights to convey the error fault code.

If your washing machine malfunctions and you can see some of the lights flashing, or one or more option lights have lit up, then make a note of which lights are flashing and which option lights are lit. NOTE: the error code list engineers have only shows the option lights by number and not by name. Therefore you need to report the lights as LED 1 and 3, or 2 and 4 etc. and NOT "delay timer" and "extra rinse". Count the lights from the left (or from the top if in a column) and report as "led 1 and 3" etc.

No Option lights?

With basic washing machines that have no option indicator lights, count the number of flashes. For example, the door locked indicator may flash 7 times, pause, and flash another 7 times in a constant cycle which would indicate error code 7.

This information is vital, and needs mentioning when reporting a fault.

try a different socket and try not to use extension leads if the lights continue to flash do not worry for now . the balance problem could be uneven load . or get some one to remove top and check support springson top and dampers at bottom are still in place . and concrete weights are not loose .

Kenmore HE2 front load washer. All cycle lights flashing plus spin and clothes clean lights on.

I'm sure this is probably too late, but hopefully it will help some else. I just had the same problem. First, unplug the power. Then take the lower front panel off and grabbed a bucket. Place the bucket under the large "plug" on your right. This is the drain. Slowly unscrew the drain plug, Hold your nose as it will probably smell. Allow the water and such to drain into the bucket. When you see the blob of wet lint drop into the bucket you will know why the machine refused to work. Make sure you clean the drain plug and screw it back in tightly. Put the lower panel back on and reconnect the power. I hope this resolves your issue.
