Make sure that there is sufficient air flow. Try putting a 1/2 inch block under the back of the laptop to improve air flow.

You can also buy a laptop cooler for the laptop to sit on top of.

SOURCE: My sony VAIO laptop keeps

sounds like the fan in your laptop is failing or is damaged, when you run graphic intensive applications and the fan turns on is that then you hear the noise if so it is your fan and you should see about getting it replaced because the components in your laptop will over heat and stop working.

My sony laptop suddenly shut down itself when am playing a game. it shuts with a certain sound

Laptops are very often overheating, so it wouldn't be a surprise if you playing the game makes it even hotter and it just shuts down to protect itself from damage.
You can try using a cooling pad/fan or just make sure the laptop fans can circulate air freely.

We have a Sony Vaio PCG-7Q1L at home, since few years. It has started to present frequent freezing, likely due to overheating. As we turn it off for few hours, and turn it back on, it works fine until this...

If the problem is truly overheating, then your fix is better cooling.
Usually the cause of overheating on a laptop is that the ventilation slots are clogged with dust so in most cases, just taking a can of compressed air and using it to blow the dust out of all the slots can be enough to restore proper ventilation to your machine. You should be able to pick up a can at any electronics or department store. Use it to blow out all the slots on the side and the bottom of your machine. Make sure to pay special attention to those slots that have a fan attached.
If that doesn't work and you still suspect that it's because it's overheating, you can look into buying cooling trays specifically made for laptops. Something like this:
Hope that helps.

Can playstation act as dvd player or i should buy dvd player separately?

Yes, it can play DVD movies as well as Music CD'S and CD-R's music. You dont have to buy another machine. One tip thou when using it as a DVD plyr you might put it where ventilation can get to it - due to the overheating problem PS2 has. I use mine all the time, and I put a fan next to it, so I can play longer and watch movies longer. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

Overheating and very slow surfing cannot watch stream video 3.0 connection.

This might help you. Try removing all the dust from the heat sink using an air compressor or something else that blows air, having dust in the heat sink can cause the overheating issue. Now for the other problem try deleting the "temporary Internet files"

To my knowledge of my understanding i can see that your system all always heat up before working for a very few minutes and for that you have to check the Processors fan if it is rolling and if it is not then turn your system upside down and disaasembly the system and remove the fan that is not wor4king and replace with a new one and that give you your rest on your pc.
