Is windows internet explorer 8 the same as microsoft internet explorer 8

Restoring Computer to earlier state is the best solution. Only update the Internet explorer by using online updates that is downloaded from Microsoft website. WebRepOverall ratingThis site has no rating(not enough votes)

Also try to update the drivers that control your PC.

If problem still occurs then use system utility tool PCFresher that will fix windows internal errors and will fix corrupt registry errors.

Install Internet Explorer 6 or later. Preferably version 8 to ensure compatibility. 2000 was IE 5.5 which is not compatible anywhere at this point.
