That is really not a hard part to find. You should be able to remove the broken one and take the whole tube into a hardware store and they can replace it for you. It should be a copper tubing with flare nuts on the ends. If not please post the model number of the compressor

Ingersoll Rand Triple play air compressor won't build pressure in tank

Jason:

while the compressor is running, feel around the fittings at each end of the air tube that runs from the compressor cylinder head to the tank. You may feel air escaping at one or both of those fittings. Tighten the fittings and check again. If air is still leaking from the fittings, you will need to remove the tube and replace the packings.

Husky model WL6605-00AJ,will pump up to 65psi,thats all the air showing on thr gauge. The compressor is still running

You Might Have Water Condensation Inside The Tank Therefore It Can Only Fit So Much Air Into The Tank Which Is Why Its Always Better To Completely Drain All The Air Out Of The Tank When Not In Use.

I R Ts4 5hp 80 gal 175 psi 230 volt Air leaking from near pressure switch. Replaced switch but still leaking near 1/4 tubing. Thanks

You have a receiver tank check valve leaking. If you loosen the 1/4 tube slightly and air blows out more and will not stop replace the tank check valve. If you follow the copper line for the compressor HP head back to the tank you will see that the line screws into the check valveand the check valve screws into the tank. Bleed all air from the tank, remove the 1/4 line and the 3/4 line from the check valve. Then unscrew the check valve. Install a new check valve and connect the lines. Problem solved.

The 1/4" line is very necessary and there are no adjustments on it. When the tank reaches full the pressure switch turns off the power and opens the valve to the 1/4" line to bleed off pressure from the air pump and feed tube so the motor can turn over the next time the tank drops to the kick in pressure. Every time the pressure switch turns the motor off a small amount of air should be heard coming out of the bottom of the switch for three to five seconds and then it should stop completely. If air continues to leak out of the switch by the 1/4" line, you have a bad tank check valve. The tank check valve is the brass fitting at the other end of the 1/4" line where the feed tube from the air pump goes into the tank. It keeps air in the tank after the pressure switch turns off the motor. Easy to replace, find the one you need for your model compressor.

Leaking in-tank check valve will cause air to continually leak out of unloader valve at pressure switch. Remove brass/steel fitting at tank and check seat for debris or replace as needed. You can use generic valve just watch fitting sizes. Available at www.grainger.com. Good luck

Coleman Powermate Model Number BV6548049, pressure switch leak.

Usually, a leak at the pressure switch unloader valve is caused by the checkvalve in the tank. The unloader valve at the pressure switch bleeds out the air from discharge tube after compressor reaches set pressure. This only takes a few seconds. If air continues to leak then air is leaking back into the discharge tube past the tank checkvalve. Follow the air discharge line from the compressor to the brass valve at the tank. The brass valve is the checkvalve that holds the pressure in the tank. There are usually two connections at this valve. One is the unloader tube to the pressure switch. Simple test for leaking checkvalve, with pressure in tank unplug or switch off the compressor and remove the small unloader line at the checkvalve(brass valve) and look/listen for leak. If leaking, remove the checkvalve and examine seat/check for debris keeping the valve slightly open. If it cannot be cleaned, order generic replacement from www.grainger.com. It will cost less than the factory checkvalve. Just pay attention to the thread sizes for easy fit. Good Luck on your repair and email if you have questions.

My black tank inside the condenser is broke and I would like to kmow what would be cheaper for me, to buy a new condenser or just to buy this black tank.

What do you mean by black tank, the compressor or expansion tank? If it's the compressor, then buy a new unit. Or if your doing it yourself, buy a compressor. Get two different quotes from your contractor and see what is the better deal?
