sony kv-1982m7 tv. power supply problem. the b+ is ok and the supply is ok the power supply transformer is not isulate that why the tv is not work or on

you should of recived a 0.01ohm resistor it is wite and sayes sony on it.
its a flame proof resistor that needs to be the very same
look for it on the pcb test it its probly open right.
ask them to send you the right part.

SOURCE: transistor lost.
if you are replacing 7402
also replace diode 6404 this diode even thou it test goo will in long term overheat 7404 and caus it to go bad by leakage.
and if 7402 gose bad it is regulating the 15v stanby volts that is 7412 is also going to be bad so replace 7412 also
the part numbers are:
7402 = # 932211676682
7412 =# 932210514682
