SOURCE: i am trying to find a replacement for ann XP2

the 2" is inside diameter so you more than likely have a 2" suction/discharge. The motor is probably rated 5hp, especially since it is both a circulation and jet pump.

SOURCE: Removal of Aqua-Flo pump from motor

You will need to pull the front of the pump off then unscrew the impeller. The impeller will be set on the shaft and will take some force to break free. Hold ing the back of the shaft and using water pump pliers on the face of the impeller will usually work but sometimes I will wedge a screwdriver in the fin of the impeller and hit it sharply (not hard) with a hammer to break it free. Then the housing will just pull free of the motor. When replaceing, the impeller just goes on hand tight. Hope this helps and good luck.

SOURCE: I was told that the Aqua Flo Master Xp2 Spa pump

I responded to the previous question in regards to the motor only. The xp2 does not have the strainer basket that the max-e-pro has . If this was a regular hot tub, the xp2 would work great, if this is above ground, then you do need a pump with a strainer basket. Again the xp2 will not work for an inground hot tub as the set up is different than an above ground unit.

SOURCE: i have an aqua flow

Many of these pump motors have a capacitor and start & run windings. I had a pump motor a week ago that was free to rotate, but only hummed. I looked inside the back end, everything looked good, I bought a capacitor online for $7 + $15 shipping, installed it and it worked. The capacitor will have voltage & rating on the side.
BE CAREFUL, CAPACITORS KEEP VOLTAGE EVEN WHEN NOT PLUGGED IN. If you don't know how to handle them, take the motor to a local motor repair shop.

Flow master XP2 by aquaflo for spa; it clicks, but does not start. I could turn the shaft with a wrench, all plugs work.

the start switch has trash in it , use compressed air and blow out the back of the motor, this works most of the time for me. otherwise the motor will need to be dissembled and can be tricky do to easy to break parts. search your area for your local pool pump motor repair guy with free testing. and ahve him clean the switch

Parts. i have a 408 seaspray model and the seal kit is bad. I need a replacement, but am having difficulty finding one. Does Coleman have the part for sale?

The XP2 pump uses a 5/8" shaft seal.
You can find them as under part numbers - PS-200, AS-200 or 92500150.

I need to purchase a stationery switch for a flowmaster xp2 model 06620390-2

What is the serial number that goes with the motor model number? I am assuming the 06-620390-2 is off the motor; if not please also add the motor brand and model number as well.

Where cani find replacement thru-bolts for an Aqua Flo XP2 pump?

A local motor repair shop would have the thru bolts. If you have at least one good one, you could match up the size, and cut soem threaded rod. Most motors this size use either 8-32,10-24,or 10-32 bolts. You can buy threaded rod at hardware store. Try to find galvanized, to prevent corrosion, or paint the part inside the motor if you cannot.
