Question about Brother P-Touch 3600 Label Printer
Hi All, Could not find a specific forum for the P-touch 2700 so have posted it here, hope thats ok. Anyway, Every time I print one label it wastes 23mm of tape that it feeds through and auto cuts. I have seen reference to this 23mm but no way of turning the cut off. Has anyone come across this at all? Cheers Sparky
SOURCE: Printed Tape Cuts Off Letters
I was having the ame issue. Found the solution on the user manual (posted online). Press Function, scroll to "Margin", press "Function", use arrows to select "#" or "##", then press Function again. Now it should print with a margin, thus not cutting off your letters. Mine was set to "-", which is basically no margin.

Take out your cartridge and look at the end of the tape, it should be under the guide, the skinny bar, before going into your machine. Make sure you tuck it in under that bar and it should be OK.

If the end is already messed up you may need a new cartridge, if you can remove the tape and feed the end under the guide on the cartridge and re-install it should work properly again.

Hello. here is the owner manual http://www.ptouchdirect.com/ptouch/manual/PT55.pdf
Just look at the section entitled "installing/changing the cassette tape". Regards, Joe
