Move unit to location less than three feet of battery, make sure you have tight clean connections to unit, do not load it higher than the mfg rates it at. A 1k unit will do most power drills and tube lights, follow directions and contact mfg for assistance

Eu6500is generator trips to red unload when ac is on

Air conditioner compressors require a greater amount of electricity (measured in both volts and amps, but the amps are what is causing the overload). You will need a larger generator to run your AC. You might be able to run a smaller AC unit, but always check the Amps required and compare that to the Amps the circuit breaker on the generator is rated for.

What could make my inverter to blow up when it's about to transfer from Dc to ac current

Too much current. The inverter is only rated to a limited number of Amps. If the inverter is not matched to the laptop, the laptop might be drawing too much current which overloads the inverter. There could also be a short in the wire on the output side of the inverter which would also overload the inverter with current.

I had a monitor and xbox 360 power supply plugged into the inverter. It has been working for at least 2-3 months now just fine. Then all of a sudden, it turned off. I unplugged it and thought maybe it...

  • First thing I should ask is have you tried to plug something else into the inverter to see if it is the inverter or a surge messed up your monitor and X-Box?
  • When you say turned off do you get a solid red light when the inverter is on and you are trying to get your X-Box and monitor to work? A solid red light means voltage overload.
  • A blinking red light means you are having a current overload.
  • If the internal alarm on the inverter goes off and shuts down with a red light this means you are having a voltage shortage.
  • If the red light starts to blink this is a temperature overload.
  • Keep in mind that this inverter will start automatically back up as soon as what ever issue it is detecting is resolved. There is no fuse to check inside.

  • If your inverter shuts down from thermal overload then wait 15 full minutes before trying to turn it on again.
  • If you don't have any blown fuses and no burned wires make sure that if you are using over 150 watts and hour you go right to the battery rather than a cigarette light adapter as the stress can burn them wires connecting to the cigarette lighter up.

  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

M/n cpi 1575 I've had my inverter installed in my

it indicates an overload situation
not enough information provided as to voltage supplied to the inverter and the voltage of the grinder
examples are for 110 volts ac with a current draw of 4.2 amps the wattage is 462 watts or for 240 v ac with 4.2 amps the wattage is 1008 watts assuming that it is 240 volts and the inverter has a maximum ate of 1000 watts then it is overloaded and circuit protection is cutting in
check the wattage of the inverter and the wattage of the ac units you use and if there is not a 25% difference in favour of the inverter then it is an overload situation

If you overloaded your inverter you may have burned out internal circuitry. It's not hard to exceede 450 watts. I don't think there is any way to repair your inverter that won't cost more than a new one. Have you checked to see if there is any overload protection on this unit I had one of these several years ago and I seem to remember ther being black button on the back that was a reset. Hope this helps. Thanks

Screen is totally blank at startup. HDD light blinks for a little bit, but screen stays blank.

1. Test using an external monitor. If it works, then either the screen bulb or the inverter board might be defective.
2. Test the inverter. Easiest way to do it if you have a good screen with a good bulb. Connect the good screen to the inverter board & test it. If it lights up, then the inverter board is good. If it did not, then the inverter board is bad & needs to be replaced.
3. If the inverter board is good, then we are left with the possibility that the screen bulb is bad. To fix this, we will need to replace the LCD screen.

I plugit in and turn the inverter box on, one

The problem you are experiencing is as
a result of an overload.Your inverter is
200watts and i believe your freezer has
a higher power than it, i.e.it is above
200watts. When ever there is an
overload on an inverter it distroys the
power transistors that make the
inverter work. You will need to see a
local repairs person.
