Question about Acer e310 Handheld GPS Receiver
I bought an Acer e310 satnav with no SD card fortunately the map software came on the original cd which I loaded onto an SD card (4GB), however when inserted into the device it comes up with ''maps not found''. I have checked the card in my laptop and the map files are there, why is it not finding the maps, could it be too much memory on the SD card.. I have done a hard reset on the device but still the same ''maps not found'', it's driving me crazy. Please help.

SOURCE: Cannot detect SD flash memory
check in "my computer" and see if it registers as a removable drive there. If not, then check in the device manager while the card is inserted and look for any yellow icons. There is a chance that the card reader need a driver installed or updated.
Hope this helps.

Your card reader on your computer isn't capable of reading SDHC cards. You have to use a card reader approved for SDHC use.
