I have a Yamata FY-900 sewing machine. It only works for the straight stitch, none of the other patterns including zigzag work. I've checked the timing that seems to be OK. Would value advice.

Watch video on YouTube for your machine. For zig zag you need to adjust stitch width. Akso where is the manual. You need a new manual to explain how to set each stitch.

I need a new wheel

A new wheel of a standard type should not present any great problems and the vehicle dealer should be able to supply though a vehicle breaker will be better value if he has stock.

If the wheel is none-standard it can represent a few problems but most of the larger tyre distributors have a wheel refurbishing service, supply new wheels from a variety of sources and sometimes keep stocks of used examples.

Hi, well DO NOT accept anything less for a start.
Be firm and polite but indicate in no uncertain terms that anything less is unacceptable. Stick to your guns as they say.
replacement with a lower value unit is NOT acceptable, nor legal, in any event at all. Short of there being none at all, and then you should be given a unit of greater value, with the dealer absorbing any extra costings, or be offered a refund up to the value of the original set.
If you continue to get trouble, contact your local Consumers Advice advocate and take it to them.

# They are used to (briefly) document the effect of each option.

# fullscreen: Start dosbox directly in fullscreen. (Press ALT-Enter to go back)
# fulldouble: Use double buffering in fullscreen. It can reduce screen flickering, but it can also result in a slow DOSBox.
# fullresolution: What resolution to use for fullscreen: original or fixed size (e.g. 1366x768).
# Using your monitor's native resolution with aspect=true might give the best results.
# If you end up with small window on a large screen, try an output different from surface.
# windowresolution: Scale the window to this size IF the output device supports hardware scaling.
# (output=surface does not!)
# output: What video system to use for output.
# Possible values: surface, overlay, opengl, openglnb, ddraw.
//# autolock: Mouse will automatically lock, if you click on the screen. (Press CTRL-F10 to unlock)
# sensitivity: Mouse sensitivity.
# waitonerror: Wait before closing the console if dosbox has an error.
# priority: Priority levels for dosbox. Second entry behind the comma is for when dosbox is not focused/minimized.
# pause is only valid for the second entry.
# Possible values: lowest, lower, normal, higher, highest, pause.
