Look at page 6 and see if it helps. There are so many routing capabilities with this unit it can get confusing. The buttons are important and you must have the Main button pressed for each channel you want to go to the main mix.

Monitor Channel Making static sounds

Without hearing it it is difficult to be sure what is going on. What happens if you plug the main PA into the monitor channels, do you get the same? Are you trying to get too much into the monitors? static and popping are not the same to my ears, popping sounds more like you are hearing something that's there through the monitors that you're not hearing through the main mix as it may be masked. What frequency is the popping? Does it only happen when levels are high or when the singers are doing 'p' and 'b's etc? do you get it if you put the monitors on the main mix? Are you running the monitors into clipping (although I wouldn't expect this to create a popping? It sounds like a mix issue rather than a fault with hardware.

Good luck. Your mixer only has one aux out to supply only one stage monitor out. Only way to make it work would be to use the panning controls of each channel to different outputs to the Left and Right main outs for stage monitors and aux out as front of house speakers. I would get another separate mixer for monitor such as another efx 12 with every input connected to both mixers, then use the panning and main outputs to that. Sorry. Just not enough of mixer. You need an aux out for each individual's monitor.

It does it on both decks..If it was the volume controls there wouldn't be any output on the meter. Even when the meter is showing output there is no sound..

I don't know how you are using the mixer are you using it as an interface? or are you directly running speakers to it? start with checking speaker cords I had an issue once that I accidently grabbed a mic cord and used it every system is different but on mine it cut input to all my speakers till right cord was replaced with good one if that's not it give me alittle more info on how your using it before I can touch on it further good luck

I'm a guitar player, never had to mess with the PA system. I needed to come up with a monitor system to work with a non powered mixer used for powered mains. I can't afford good powered speakers, so I...

This mixer will run 2 8 ohm cabinets per side, if this is an older unit, it has only one NL2/combo jack per channel....with the button on the front panel in the Main Monitor position you can run 2 main cabinets and 2 monitor cabinets, you will have to daisy chain your speakers. All speakers powered from the back of the unit must be passive, no powered speakers.....if you want to use this head just to run moitors and run a pair of powered mains then connect the jack on the front that says main out to input of your powered speakers, hopefully your powered speakers can be daisy chained at low level, then if you want to use the 8600 to power only monitors, get a 1/4 in y cable and plug it into monitor out on the front of the mixer and then plug it into PA 1 and PA 2 to the right there and both sides will now be the monitor mix from this mixer and it will run 2 speakers per side, as long as the cabinets are 8 ohms.

We have four submixes that were working well, then all of a sudden the only way we could get sound out of the house speaker was to mix to the mono ''C' mix. Monitor seems unaffected. Any i

The first thing I recommend is to make sure that no mute buttons are pressed and no solo buttons are pressed. Explain a little more specifics about your setup and I can help you more. Sounds like some bad connections, bad cord, or something has blown. Lets stay simple starting out but, I need to know more about your setup, please. Don't forget to use phantom power for any condenser mics.I realize your problem is on the output side of things, just a couple of things to check before we start troubleshooting. Let me know.

I don't know how to use behringer feedback destroyer DSP1124p

Determine where in the mixer's signal path to connect the unit. Your options are:
1. One or two individual microphone channels via the mixer's CHANNEL INSERT in/out jacks.
2. The monitor mix output via the mixer's MONITOR OUT jacks.
3. The main mix output via the mixer's MAIN OUT jacks.

  • 2 Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from CHANNEL INSERT OUT jacks on the desired mixer channel to INPUT RIGHT or LEFT on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel for individual microphone channels. Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the OUTPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel to that mixer channel's CHANNEL INSERT IN jack.
  • 3 Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the mixer's MONITOR OUT jacks to the INPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel for the monitor signal path. Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the OUTPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel to the monitor amplifier INPUT jack or amplified monitor speaker INPUT jacks.
  • 4 Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the mixer's MAIN OUT jacks to the INPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel for the main mix (FOH) signal path. Connect a balanced cable with the appropriate connectors from the OUTPUT RIGHT or LEFT jacks on the Feedback Destroyer's back panel to the main amplifier INPUT jack or amplified house speaker INPUT jacks.

How to connect floor monitor to mixer

You need to connect the speakers using an XLR cable into the Main output jack on the back of the mixer. If they are powered speakers you will need to connect them into a power source and turn them on AFTER connecting them. Once powered on you can control the signal going to the mixer with the Main Mix fader.

    1. Turn mixer on
    2. Ensure Main Mix level is at zero
    3. Connect from Main Output to Monitors
    4. Turn Monitors on
    5. Turn up Main mix to desired level

I have a Behringer PMP 6000 that I just bought. With the power amp switch in Main L/Main R it works fine, but if I switch it to Main/Mon, only the Mon works, nothing from the Main. Bridge mode doesn't...

Bridge mode you use chan B (left connector on the back) using a SPECIALLY wired Speakon. The impedance of a speaker connected as such CANNOT be LESS than 8 ohms.

In the Main/Mon mode, the two amplifiers are separated in function. The monitor knobs for EACH channel input control the mix sent to Channel A which is for the monitor speakers. The Mon1 controls the level sent to Output A for the monitor speakers. Mon2 fader is NOT used.

The individual channel faders control the main mix and the Main fader controls the level sent to Output B which goes to the main speakers.

Are you sending the main mix to the monitors or are you giving them their own mix? What about using the sub groups, use 1 for your monitor send.
