Question about Sansui Vintage Am/fm Stereo Tuner Tu-217 Japan-made Used
This vintage sansui stereo is stuck on the cassette mode. It will not switch to radio or turntable when i engage the needle. The repair man said it needs a remote which I do not have. Any suggestions?
The above mentioned make and model # unit is a tuner, not a reciever, as a tuner, it's only function is to recieve radio signals, there is no internal amp, no selector switch for other components.

Check for 19 Kz on stero decoder that requires calibration adjustment.
Instrument you need:
Occiloscope or frequezy counter and adj driver .
