Loops appear on the surface (top side) of the fabric?
Reduce the tension by turning the upper tension control dial to a lower number. If the loops still appear on the surface of the fabric after you adjust the upper tension, the bobbin thread may be too loose. In this case, turn the screw clockwise, being careful not to over-tighten the screw, approximately 30-45 degrees to increase bobbin tension. After you adjust the bobbin thread, adjust the upper thread to match the bobbin thread.
Make sure you reset before your next project.

Loops appear on the bottom side of fabric? Make sure machine is threaded correctly.Correct needle size for fabric and bulk you are sewing? If it is then turn tension dial to next higher number. Good luck.

My sewing machine is lemeiux 7000 . My thread is breaking and Seam from the lower side is very loose .what could be the reason

It is a tension problem, check your needle to make sure it does not have a burr this will cause thread to break.
if the stitching is loose on the underside you have to figure out if it is the top thread going to the underside and making loops of thread, your tension is too loose so tighten ever so slightly and sew a few stitches till it is even, if it is the bobbin thread that is bunching up try re threading it and make sure you are using the same thread on both bobbin and top, some will not work together. hope this helps good luck

Bobbin tension

Masses of thread on the underside is actually a top tension problem. If you can see into the top tension area, make certain there are no jammed threads, lint, yecch in there. Lift and lower the presser foot lever and see if the tension opens and closes. If it does not, it may be stuck open and not putting any tension on the top thread. Make sure your top tension is set in the middle of its range.

?The top stitches are fine; the bottom stitches are very loose.

Firstly check the tension on your bobbin case is sufficient or if the thread is actually into the spring fully, this is most likely cause of bottom thread loose stitching. You can test bobbin case tension adjustment using the "Dangle" test, here is a link to some good images to help.
http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Repair/Thread_Tension_Settings.htm

If you look closely and there is actually looping on the underside then is is the top thread coming to the underside and not being tensioned back up; so top thread is not under tension enough or at all.

Set top tension to 4-5, then recheck the threading up and and always thread with the presser foot raised as this opens up the tension device so the thread can seat in fully. Once you've threaded to just before the needle thread guide, lower the presser foot and pull the thread downwards, it should be very firm if its under tension.

Tension devices can get gunked up or fail with use so if you can't get it to feel firm, it will need a technican to investigate further.

Since my needle tip broke, the stiching is loose on the underside. I have replaced the needle, rethreaded it several times, put a new bobbin in and it still has loose threading on the underside. I have...

Loose stitches on underside is a sign that the top thread is not under enough tension. So you need to check that the tension dial is set to correct setting (usually 4 or 5) and that the top thread is actually in the tension discs. Always thread up with the pressure foot raised to ensure the tension discs are wide open so the thread seats in fully.

So unthread top and rethread checking thread goes into the tension device fully. Lower pressure foot and pull on the thread after the tension device - it should feel firm.

Also check thread is lying in the take up lever correctly.

If you can't get it threaded up and feel tension on the top thread, then something is up with the top tension device.

You could try to clean the tension device, how you do this varies with different models but if you can access the discs, then turn tension to zero and 'floss" between the metal discs with a selvage edge of a clean piece of waste cotton fabric, if gunk comes out, keep cleaning. Refer to your manual if you've never cleaned the tension device out before. Remember to reset tension back to normal setting afterwards, rethread and try again.

If after trying these things, you can not feel any tension on the top thread, then the tension device may have broken and you'll need to take it for a service.

My bobbin stitch is loose. I have tried adjusting tension and have changed the needle.

A. To correct loose stitches, try the following: (1) Balance the thread tension. If the stitches are loose on top of the fabric, decrease the tension to the next lower number. If they are loose on the underside set the tension to the next higher number. (2) Make sure the needle/upper thread follows the threading path. (3) Check to see that the bobbin case is threaded properly. (4) Use a different size needle. For fine fabrics, use a smaller needle (size 9, 11); medium-weight fabrics require a size 14 or 16. And use a size 18 or "Denim" needle for heavy corduroy or denim.

THREAD GET BUNCHED UP UNDERNEATH THE FABRIC, THE STICHES SEEM TO BE INCOMPLETE THE TOP LOOKS GOOD THAN I TURN IT OVER AND THE THEAD IS BUNCHED AND LONG LOOPS OF THREAD ARE LEFT. THANKS LOU

Hi Lou! This sounds like a tension problem--the tension on the top thread is too loose. Try using different color threads on the top and bobbin, then carefully rethread everything. Stitch a couple of inches and check the underside. If the top stitches look fine and the bottom ones are loose and loopy, and with the pressure foot down, tighten the tension. Move the knob or dial (whichever you have) just a little bit. Sew a couple of inches more, and recheck. Continue to sew and recheck, gradually tightening the tension, until you see little if any bobbin thread on the top or top thread on the underside of the fabric.

Let me know if this helps, ok?

Can't get thread tension right on my Euro-Pro 7130

the top seam is actually the bobbin thread. dots on the underside means that the top tension is too tight. you may have a piece of thread or something gummy caught between the upper tension disks.
