Dear
mz_bridg_ett,First of all you need to check that your computer hardware/ the entire computer meets the specifications of the game. you will be looking at things like
CPU speed -- the higher the number in MHz you have the better
RAM speed -- this is your computers' memory, the bigger the number in MB/ GB and MHz the better
HDD size -- this is your hard disk drive, bigger the number in GB the better. . . . typical size is 120-500Gb and will be enough for the game . . . . . . more than enough even with Windows (EWWW YUCK!! ) installed on it.
GPU speed-- this is your graphics disply, and like the rest, the bigger the number the better, best to check out your specifications before you attempt to play the game.... ideally you want a direct x 9.0c card or better still direct x 10 when in windows (YUCK) go to start>run>command>dxdiag ... this will check that for you
Right with that lot done, open your CD drive, and put the install disc into the drive, and it should start to run automatically. . . . if not go to my computer and find the CD drive letter and double click it. . . . . if you are a smarty pants like me, then you can go to start>run>command>X:\autorun.exe...........substitute value "X" for your drive letter, you can also type....start>run>command>X:\setup.exe..... for Vista (awwww ewww awful) then you need to go start>all programs>accessories>command prompt> command.com...... then follow the above for other version of windows.
game should start to load, ask you where you want to install it, and then for the password/ product key of the game, which you can find on the back of the manual or on the reverse inside of the CD case.
enter the code then hit ok
When this is done, itll ask you to enter the game disk/ play disk if you dont have to reboot your computer, but i always reboot first anyway.
enter the play disk and run it like you did before with the install disk, unless you are one of the many masses that add shortcuts on your menu and systems to start up your programs/ warez.
if this doesnt work, try cleaning the disk, try installing it to different locations, even get diagnostic tools to check your computer. . . .
definitely try all above before feeding the game disks to the dog.
I hope this is the fixya for you
yours sincerely
Oz
