Question about Dewalt Saws
The quick blade release chuck does not hold the blades very secure and they keep coming out during operation. I have had the chuck changed twice and am still having the problem. Can you tell me how to stop this.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

depending on how new the saw is there are only 2 ways to change out the blade. the older saws have a allen head screw that you must loosen or remove to take te blade off. this screw is located on the shaft at the top of the blade. shed some light on it and look for a slot above the guide.the screw will be either on the right side or the left side. Newer models will have a quick release on one side or the other,it will look like a little lever, you just flip it out with your thumb the old blade drops out then you install the new blade flip it back and your back in business.

are you using the "T" shank blades and also are you loosening the spindle enough to allow the blade to turn, sometimes you have to push up a little to turn it and also pull away from the roller guide. Let me know and also there is a TINY spring in the top of the spindle that has a nasty habit of breaking and winding around itself not allowing proper operation.
