There's a form that you will be needing to fill out to confirm your identity. Try it and see if you still can't get your password
If you have forgot your windows 10 password it can only be easily resolved if you used your microsoft account as a username : In this case you have to use an alternate device to go on the microsoft website and go under accounts and forget my password as they then will email you steps to reset the password . If you had used as we call a guest username you are going to be forced to reinstall your windows operating system software
On another machine, go to the link I post. That's the link to reset your Microsoft password. Microsoft has now lumped all of its services pretty much under the same umbrella, so resetting the live.com password will also work for your stuck computer. Sign in to your Microsoft account
I forgot mine not too long ago and went through the system reset options for forgotten passwords.
My password is the same as my Microsoft Live (Hotmail) account so if you can remember that it should be the same as your XBOX password.
Else just use the forgotten password options to change it.
