Dishwasher leaking water from top of washer.

As water enters into the washing machine, it leaks from the top the machine. It looks like the water tube that connects into the top and the spining arm that disperses the water on the inside. The seal(?) is leaking, it fills the indentation at the top and leaks down the side to the floor

I have the same problem - the rubber sleeve that connects the plastic tube to the rotor is worn out and has come off. Can I find just this one part or do I have to buy a whole new tube or rotor?

Water leaks under machine when filling

Hello, if your washer leaks only when filling then you have to check these:
Air-gap device- The air gap is a small device found on most washers that prevents the wash water from being siphoned into the household water supply. It's located either mid-way along or at the end of the black rubber hose that comes from the water-inlet valve. Often it's made of translucent plastic. If one of the air-gap components deforms or cracks, you may need to replace it.
THE TUBE - There's a rubber tube that runs between the water-inlet valve and either the air-gap or the inlet spout. If it cracks or breaks, it can cause a leak
inlet spout- Most washers have a plastic spout near the top of the main clothes tub that directs the water into the tube. If the spout cracks or breaks free of it's mounting, it can cause a leak.
Thanks

Leaks water when filling up.

If the washer is leaking only during the fill and not all the time, the problem is most likely caused by a faulty air gap device, a leaking water inlet valve, or the tube. The air gap is a small device that keeps the washwater from being siphoned into the household water supply. It is usually located mid-way or at the end of the black hose that comes from the water inlet valve. Usually it is made of transluscent plastic. Look for leaks or cracks.

The tube is a rubber tube that runs between either the water inlet valve and either the air gap or the inlet spout. Check for leaks.

The water inlet spout - most washers have a plastic spout near the top of the main clothes tub that directs the flow of water into the tub. If the spout cracks or breaks free from it's mounting, it can cause leaks.

These are the things to look for if the washer is only leaking during fill. Hope this helps and best wishes.

Water leaking when being filled .

leaking while the washers off is a normal problem.check for corrosion or crack on the outer tub.
check the water supply connections and the drain hose.also make a check for the tube seal and tube bearing.these are the only possibilities for a water leak.

Washing machine

Hi,

Your washer can develop several types of leaks. You can track down a leak based on when it occurs:

During fill only If the washer leaks only during the fill cycle, check these:

  • Air-gap device -The air gap is a small device found on most washers that prevents the wash water from being siphoned into the household water supply. It's located either mid-way along or at the end of the black rubber hose that comes from the water-inlet valve. Often it's made of translucent plastic. If one of the air-gap components deforms or cracks, you may need to replace it.

  • The tube -There's a rubber tube that runs between the water-inlet valve and either the air-gap or the inlet spout. If it cracks or breaks, it can cause a leak.

  • Inlet spout -Most washers have a plastic spout near the top of the main clothes tub that directs the water into the tub. If the spout cracks or breaks free of its mounting, it can cause a leak.

During drain and spin only A washer that leaks only during the spin cycle often has a leak in the main drain hose. Inspect the entire hose and correct any problem you find. Alternatively, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. This may be most visible during large loads and high water levels. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub--but that may not be an economical repair to make. Consult a qualified appliance repair technician for further details.

Water leaking from bottom front panel

Plug off the wall. Open the back of the machine to take a good look at the tube coming out from the bottom of the tub, open the front door to see if the door washer is loose somewhere. You could even try to reach out thru the back to locate any loose rubber gasket, the door gasket that is...... Possible you could take out the top of the machine to see if any of the normal 3 tubes entering your dispenser has come loose.....
