I use the dough recipe a lot. I was wondering if I can half the recipe when making it. I usually half it after making the dough and refrigerate the dough until I need it. However, it would be nice if I could half the recipe before making the dough. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Yes, the scratch recipe can be halved. In some machines you need to use the light crust setting when cutting the recipe in half to reduce the risk of over-baking.
