Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 Digital Camera
My Lumix dmc-fz20 was bought in May 2005. Recently it began giving the signal 'turn camera off and on' no matter how many times I did it. This used to happen in all shooting modes(but not in the mode where I could watch the pictures that I had taken). I also noticed that the zoom lever would not work.
I solved the problem by turning on the camera and then turning it off while holding onto the lens so that the lens would not return in after the camera was turned off. Then while the camera was off, I gently twisted the lens slightly in both directions and turned the camera on and off.
The next time I turned the camera on, it worked perfectly.

If you know how to open up the camera, the two connecttor from lens module attach to the main PCB have contact problem.you need to make sure they have a good contact.one way is to clean up the contact point and re insert back ,it may help.
