The fault should be with SMPS board itself. If you wish to get more details, check this site linked below. Pull up older posts there. Check the site with patience, as it has over 2350 posts now. All are related to electronic equipment repair help. If you search the site in Timeslide option, which can be selected from the drop down list at the top left of the display window, it will be easy to locate the related post. You can also do a search by type in the brand name to your device into its search box at the top right of display window. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

SMPS section circuit fault. Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. My orion tv model number sled4668w just went black no sound no picture

Two possible faults:
1. Fault to the main power supply regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician.
2. Surf the site with patience. Flyback b+ low

Two main reasons. Fly-back transformer [including it H-out transistor] and/or the main power supply section [SMPS] fault. Surf the site with patience. Images reduces all round what is the problem

If the main supply voltage out from its SMPS is low than normal, this kind of fault can occur. Check all the DC supply voltages out from the SMPS. Refer its circuit diagram for details of these voltages. To get some details, http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts.

Tv is not working when it is switch on tv become standby

This is a common fault. Check power supply output of SMPS. if its low/drop, then disconnect supply to horz.o/p., and check supply again. If supply is normal when open load this means there is a defected components in horizontal output section. If the supply is normal before open load, check horz. osc and H.driver. Also check reset voltage at microprocessor and standby circuit.

What is cost of yoke for panasonic ct tv?

You're discussing about the width problem to picture. If yoke have a short in between its wingdings [even a single winding short], will cause the failure of horizontal output transistor. As per you report here, the set has a raster, but problem is with the picture width.
There possibliliites for this fault are.
1. Lack of voltage from the SMPS power supply output.
2. Horizontal width capacitor.
3. Horizontal output capacitor.
Check the output voltage from the SMPS section first, and confirm that it is OK.

Panasonic will not power on

Possible fault in the SMPS power supply unit, Is so the back panel should be removed only if you are equipped and aware of circuit tracing.Check the SMPS input and output voltages. if absent the SMPS unit must be replaced after checking with these tips: http://www.fixya.com/support/r5826301-working_switch_mode_power_supplies

Width problem

A width issue specially if this is short of width on the screen can be due to many reasons:1. It can be a low +B which means the SMPS power supply has a lower output due to low Switching or a low value on the main capacitor. Check this out, measure the +B on the mains end and also the secondary side which will confirm.2. If the secondary +B is correct the fault can be with the sync circuit IC or the horizontal coil or even a fault with the deflection coil. A proper measurement of the voltage in this section is important.3. Check for weak capacitors and DRY soldering on the horizontal section , line output section.

Ive had this bluray player for 2 years and it was working fine, then one day i tried to turn it on and nothing happened. i checked if the fuse was blown but i appears to be fine. so there is no power...

hi,
there is possibility of two complaints.
1, The SMPS power supply fault
2. the mother board fault.
if the SMPS is faulty the you can rectify the problem. If it is with the mother board the you have to contact the manufacturer .
First of all you have to check the SMPS ( switch mode power supply). you have to check the voltages at it secondary stage. 5v, 12v, etc
switched-mode power supply (switching-mode power supply, SMPS, or simply switcher) is an electronic power supply that incorporates a switching regulator in order to be highly efficient in the conversion of electrical power. Like other types of power supplies, an SMPS transfers power from a source like the electrical power grid to a load (e.g., a personal computer) while converting voltage and current characteristics. An SMPS is usually employed to efficiently provide a regulated output voltage, typically at a level different from the input voltage
for checkin the SMPS voltaes you need a multimeter. And check the voltages at it secondary stage

if there is no outputs from the smps then you have to replace the SMPS drive STR ic near the big capacitor. Also ty to replace the OPTO coupler ic. y have to check the all resistors near the ic.

Remember one important thing that the capacitor can hold charge for some time even if you disconnect the power. so after removing the power. remove the SMPS very carefully. discharged the capacitor using a bulb.
i have also added a video for SMPS working for you reference will hep you for repairing your one

ok

HOW DO U KNOW THE CAPACITY OF AN COMPUTER SMPS (unbranded)

Maximum output of any smps is not based solely on the type of power switching transistors used. One of the parameters which will be crucial is the Ic (Max collector current rating). But this by itself isn't the lone determining factor either.

Other design factors which will come into play are the switching transformer, its size and windings. A smaller transformer and smaller wire gauge windings will generally mean lower max power output.

Max power output measurements probably require a set of load resistors, volt and amp meters, monitoring the 3.3, 5, 12 volt lines.

I'm not an engineer, but have had numerous computer power supplies apart, repairing some, junking some. Quality of construction or lack thereof is generally obvious. PC Power and Cooling probably builds high quality units. There are plenty of cheap, low cost power supplies which frequently die after a year or two, sometimes taking a motherboard down with it.
