SOURCE: I NEED TO KNOW THE SPARK PLUG GAP AND MAGNITO GAP

Spark plug gap is .025

As for the air gap in-between the flywheel, and magneto, I generally start with a piece of notebook paper in-between them.

After the bolts are snugged down, turn the flywheel by hand to spin the paper out.

The plug should gap at 0.5 mm or .020" and be sure to use the proper resister plug. Do not cross reference a plug.

What spark plug (make, number) can I get for a Poulan 2025 chainsaw and what gap?

Replace with Champion CJ-7Y or RCJ--7Y spark
plug and tighten securely with a 3/4 inch
socket wrench. Spark plug gap should be
0.025 inches
R stands for resistor on the RCJ-7Y. Either plug will work.

I Have a Poulin chainsaw with spark and gas. The spark is not as strong as it shoud be, hence I can turn the motor over holding the sparkplug in my hand and feel very little charge from it. I have tried...

I think you should check the gap setting on the magneto and make sure it isclean. Replace mag if output is still weak. Also check all wiring connections to make sure they are clean and tight.
I'm sorry but I don't have many manuals for poulan and you didn't say what model number it is. If you have owners manual it should tell you what the gap is. Good luck and thank you.

Chainsaw wont start. new plug has a little spark.

The engine case needs to be removed to expose the flywheel and ignition module. Check the module pole gap to the flywheel magnets with a thin business card for a gauge. If the gap is excessive, that can give a weak spark. If the gap appears to be correct, then it is probably time for a new ignition module. Make sure the spark plug is gapped at 0.020" before condemning the module. The spark should be blue and snappy. Check it in a dark area. Hope this helps!
