How to repair/replace throttle linkage in handle of leaf blower

I took the air filter off to get at the carb and the throttle bar just fell off. Its a solid rod. Disassembled the handle and it looks like if fits in a hole at the tip of the handle, although that maybe missing a chip of plastic. A diagram of how it goes back in there would be helpful.

My br550 will start but not rev

Check the throttle cable linkage, Remove the air filter housing and outer case to access the carb and the throttle cable. There is also an adjustment ***** in the front of the trigger is its just a case of taking up the throttle slack.
Here's the breakdown manual too

Skips at full throttle

Could be one of two common problems. Fuel hose in tank is old, broken, or leaking air. The other is debris in port on carb. Sometimes carb cleaner gets it but really should get a carb rebuild kit, very cheap, an replace tank hose too. Easy job just remember where you took each part from an in a clean place an dont use paper towels, lent.

Take apart stihl blower for repair

If you have the correct Stihl hose , then pull air box off and will probably have to remove the 8mm nuts that hold carb on and disconnect the fuel line and fuel return line and throttle linkage. then empty the fuel tank and pull the filter off the end of the hose and remove from the top. You will have to probably make yourself a hook out of rigid wire, hanger works good, just something to hook fuel line to pull through the cap opening so you can pull filter off old hose. then insert new Stihl hose from the top and grab it from the fuel cap hose with needle nose pliers or hemostats and pull gently not cutting the hose but enough to pull hose into tank to where groment on fuel line is in place in tank, then install NEW fuel filter and make sure your return line is good, I would replace both while I'm there, then reassemble it. if it doesn;t run right you may have to pull carb back off and dissemble it and clean it cause it may have sucked dirt through the crack

Only runs on choke, will not rev-up. took exaust off did not change, fuel is filter clean, plug has been cleaned, new fuel and let idle till it got hot, still will not rev-up

Your description sounds like fuel restriction in the main circuit. Sometimes you need to soak the carb in carb cleaner and then blow out passageways with compressed air.

There is one "cheat" but it involves some higher throttle, and that is you remove the air filter, rev up the unit and briefly place palm over the intake. Sometimes this is enough to pull the obstruction free.

I was replacing pull cord and the tiny bar which connects the trigger to the carb fell off before I could see how it was installed. I canot figure out how it goes back. It is a Bvm 200 25cc Poulan leaf...

It should be pretty simple to replace. Would expect the trigger to come out, put the rod/bar on the carb then on the trigger (probably has to swivel the trigger to get the part on) the set trigger back in it's position. Hope this helps. Easier to do than explain.

Craftsman gas blower model #358.797130. replaced gas line and filter.Had to take gas tank out to connect line. Cannot find how to connect the carbuetor to stay on the gasket. diagram in the book doesn't...

Probably a couple of screws that you took out to access the carb from inside the air filter housing. Probably Torx head screws. You line up the carb and put the air filter housing back on over the carb, lining up the holes in the engine block.

Does this look like the answer you were seeking? Or did I mis-understand?

My leaf blower will not start, It keeps flooding

To start: turn the choke off, hold the throttle wide open and crank. You have a carb problem but this should get you going. John

PoulonPro Leaf Blower will not run properly

the carb has a screen in it it needs to be cleaned out the fuel gets crystalized in the carb when it sits for a while. and if the carb has a high and low on the carb meaning 2 screws on the side of the carb .one is for air and the other is for fuel try this first start it up and give it full throttle and turn the high adjustment till it does something screw it in slowley and or out till it is at full rpm sometimes the adjustment screws do vibrate there way out of adjustment .if it dont work then take the carb apart to clean out the screen
