Cant get speedometer to work on my 06 plate vauxhall zafera can anyone help

need more information. Vauxhall 06 plate is this a car ?
How have you connected the magnets. And Sensor.
Is this car front wheel drive ?
Usually with rear wheel drive you attach magnets to the drive shaft and put sensor near magnets.
If your car is front wheel drive you do not have a drive shaft.
Your car should have a speedometer ?
Hopefully it has a speedometer cable in the engine bay coming off somewhere near the fly wheel. You may be able to use what is known as a speedometer cable impulse sender attached between the engine speedo cable output point and to the speedo cable to send impulses to the koso xr sr rather than using magnets on the wheel or drive shaft.

My Proform 100 ZLX Exercycle is stuck in low/zero pedal resistance, and doesn't respond to console settings. Can this be economically fixed?

follow the steps, and fix it. God bless you

Be aware that the resistance is often the part that requires repair. Resistance is managed magnetically, so often if the machine is working, but the resistance isn't setting correctly or at all, check the bolts that secure the magnets. If they are loose, the resistance will slip. If the bolts are fine, check the magnets themselves by using a refrigerator magnet and see if it is attracted or repelled by the your fridge magnet. If not, the magnets have de-magnetized and need to be replaced.

Resistance on elliptical acting weird

1) tight the bolts tension for magnet and clean very well. and proof..if the fail
2) go to test the magnet, use again the magnet from your refrigerator magnet, for attraction and repulsion. If do not pass the TEST replace the magnet in any Hardware such home depot, etc.
God bless you

ProForm 675 elliptical is very hard to peddle

use the next steps:
Step 1

Use your flathead screwdriver to pry off the plate on the left side of the elliptical trainer.
Step 2

Look for the magnet and reed switch. These elements will be roughly the same size, and the reed switch should have a series of wires connected to it.
Step 3

Loosen the screw in the reed switch using your screwdriver. Move the reed switch by hand until it sits 1/8 inch from the magnet, then re-tighten the screw.
Step 4

Test the unit to see if the display and heart rate monitor are working properly. If not, move the reed switch slightly so it is closer or farther from the magnet, then try the machine again. Once you've found the correct location for the switch, tighten the screw to hold the reed switch in place.
Step 5

Replace the cover plate by snapping it into position by hand

My treadmill won't start or if it does it shuts down within a second or two.

Check the sensor!
It is magnetic... You can find it next to the wheel on the belt - It is fairly small.... There is a metal disc in the wheell on the belt that is a magnet.. As it passes by the sensor - the sensor registers the magnet and can simply calculate speed based on the frequency of the passes... Sometimes the sensor slides too far back and ergo can`t register the magnet passing by - Then you get the L5 error...

My Pro-Form 490 LE has a resistance problem--it won't adjust and it seems to be set on a difficult resistance, I can't really pedal it. how do I fix this? I tried switching the levels, but it doesn't...

Open the rear part where the "guts" are. The magnet will be stuck against the wheel that turns when you pedal because the cable that the resistance motor pulls to remove the tension will have too much slack in it. The cable probably came off of the pulley wheel that is used to providing the necessary tension to pull the magnet off of the wheel.

To get the case off, simply unhook the right side pedal, remove the 4 bolts holding on the crank thing to remove it, then using a philips head screwdriver, remove the screws in the screw holes on the case cover. Be sure to remove the one screw on the other side near the front in order to allow the front part to "unsnap".

Have purchased a used Pro Form 900 Cardio Cross Trainer

If you can hear the adjustment motor running the problem could be related to two things:
1. Broken or stretched resistance adjustment cable.
2. Broken bracket for the magnet return spring.
If the resistance is on maximum all the time the second issue is most likely the cause.
