MY PROBLEM IN MY MIT LANCER 2010 IS, WHEN I STARTED THE ENGINE FOR THE FIRST TIME, LET SAY IN THE MORNING, BOTH FANS WILL WORK BUT AFTER SOMETIME, AC FAN/BLOWER WOULD STOP AND NEVER WORK AGAIN

i read that ur problem is with a Mitsubishi lancer, and not an f-150. or u r question reflects sumthing else. nun the less :mit lancer ac fan is governed by a thermal shut off. if u use it it will run, if not it will shutoff. NOW: f150?? relays r in the box under the dashboard driver side. chk fuses first, cuz relays r tough to git at.lol!

Fan wont always come on when a/c is turned on. If it were fuse, would it never work? Works randomly. A/C is working cuz I can hear it come on every time. Is there a relay switch for fan? If so wher

typically the fan will only come on if the high side a/c pressure reaches a certain pressure. Are you sure the system has a full charge?

You are correct that the fan would not work if the fuse was blown. It may intermittently work if the fan motor was going bad or there was a bad relay, or if a sensor was flaking out, or if there was a problem with the wiring.

I would start with making sure the system is fully charged or at least hooking up a set of gauges to the a/c and seeing what the pressures are at.

Coolant light is on replaced thermostat, fan not working. i have a 1999 chevy caviler what should i do

REplace the temp sensor then top off the coolant to avoid overheating. Fan will not work cuz sensor doesn't send signal that the coolant is hot enough to warrant a cooling from fan.

Light remote control stopped working

most of my fan controls have done this to me. you know the reciever is working cuz the fan works fine. you need to dis assemble the remote completely and clean the contacts for the light button. mine are two small black dots that seem to keep getting slimey and wont work till i clean them, then all works like brand new again.

good luck.

The ECU drives a relay which in turn drives the fan. Trace the fan wiring back to the relay and check the plug connection. Does the fan turn freely by hand? If not, replace it. The fan needs a solid ground connection as well as power from the relay.
