You will have to repalce the air regulator. Campbell Hausfeld is the maker of the Husky air compressors. There should be a different model number on your compressor that you can use to locate the part number on the chpower.com website. The only problem that I have come into is that the parts are not available for these models on a long term basis, and they may not offer any repair parts at all. If you can not locate the part on the Campbell Hausfeld site call Home Depot and ask them where you can get the part.

SOURCE: air compressor switch
That means that when the switch is turned on , and the complessor is pluged into a power outlet, the electric motor will start when the air pressure in the tank drops below 80 psi.and the motor will stop when the pressure reaches 100 psi.

You compressor has a pilot valve that controls the tank pressure and the speed of the engine. Locate the brass pilot valve, (It has a flip lever that unloads the compressor) you will notice that it has two locking nuts that allow for adjustment when loosened. Loosen the small lock nut and turn the upper-most part of the pilot valve out to reduce pressure, in to increase pressure. Hope this helps, enjoy.

ITS A POSSIBILITY AND YOU BETTER HOPE ITS NOT SPINNING BECAUSE THE SCREW COMPRESSOR IS LOCKED UP. CHECK THE OIL LEVEL IN THE SUMP AND SEE IF THE ROTOR WILL TURN WHEN NOT RUNNING. TYPICALLY THE DIESEL ENGINE WILL TURN HIGHER RPMS WHEN IT HAS NO DRAG ( NO COMPRESSOR HOOKED UP ). YOU CAN GET THE PARTS FROM INGERSOL RAND OR ANY RENTAL YARD - UNITED, PENSKE, SUNBELT, ETC. THEIR MECHANIC SHOPS ARE USUALLY FOR HIRE AND CAN EVEN INSTALL IT FOR A CHARGE. ALSO MAKE SURE NOTHING BUILT A NEST IN THERE. IF YOU REMOVE THE SCREW, MAKE SURE AND WATCH FOR SHIMS. THOSE SHAFTS NEED TO LINED UP PERFECT TO REDUCE VIBRATION. GOOD LUCK
