Sound problem

My guess is if you try headphones and all is ok , then it might be time for some external speakers to be added as I might be inclined to think that the internal connection or the speakers that are internal are faulty of course this can be fixed but probably at a much higher than simply adding some external speaker set up which can be as little as $10:00 or less up to over $100 :00 for a system surround , but if you are happy with a twin speaker system then I would go foe that option

Steps to be followed:
1. check whether audio driver is installed properly ? if not install audio driver & check
2. check audio setting in control panel & confirm
3. connect external speaker in laptop and check whether sound is coming? if sound is coming then ur laptop internal speaker need replacement
4. if there is no sound in external speaker then need to check ur motherboard or sound card.

You might be missing the sound drivers on the laptop this would explain why there no sound through laptop or external speakers.

Download the drivers from the link below :

Select your laptop model and follow instruction on how to install.

GO INTO CONTROL PANEL, GO TO DEVICE MANAGER, CHECK THE MEDIA CENTER, SOUND, VIDEO AND GAMESS,

OR

CONTROL PANEL OPEN SOUND FOLDER, SEE IF THE DEVICE YOU HAVE IS LISTED IN THE SETTING AND IF NOT THAN YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO CONTROL PANEL TO ADDING NEW HARDWARE AND TRY TO INSTALL AS NEW DEVICE.

IF YOU ARE IN SOUND IN THE CONTROL PANEL, GO TO THE SOUND TAB AND OPEN THE FOLDER, THAN GO TO SOUND SCHEME , OPEN THE PULL DOWN WINDOWS AND SLECT THE NO SOUND AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Laptop screen will not come on

What you do is when you switch on your laptop, Try to press F2 to go into BIOS or do anything so that your computer won't boot into windows. My question is incase you're in BIOS setup...can you see anything on screen ??? if no then try to look more seriosly that anything???? if no then last test is to plug external monitor..incase nothing on external monitor also then you've problem with your notebook maybe motherboard or screen problem.
Goodluck,takecare.

Normal 0 If you have your speakers turned up to high it will give you feedback causing distortion and static. I recommend using a headset when videoing.
Second reason is, if you are using a laptop and have added an external microphone between the two it will cause distortion and static.
Not knowing the configuration of your computer makes it harder to analyze the problem.
So hope this is of some help. Bud
