hi there toshiba are only supplying vista drivers for your laptop however there is a way to get the right sound driver you need to find out what model is your sound card the best way to do that is to download a free software called AIDA32 once installed on your laptop it should tell you what model your sound card is then just go on the sound card's manufacturer's website and download the right driver i think yours sounds like realtek. another way of finding out is to go to www.driveragent.com it scans your laptop and tells you what drivers are up to date and what are not it also tell you which drivers are missing and gives you a link to download the right ones this is not a free service but it's good value for the money i use it all the time never let me down good luck
Hi, don't worry, this will work try this
Search for "Dxdiag.exe" in C:\ search in all hidden files then only u will get results. When u get open it click on yes if message appear. Then, click on Display Tab u will see a Model No. some thing like this "Intel 945G__ Express Chipset Family" that is your model no.. Now, go to Intel.com and search for "your model no. (945__ or 965__ whatever)" u will see some results then, Download drivers which is supported to your board. Download the Audio driver for XP. It will definitely work 100%. Good Luck

I'm having trouble getting my Verizon MyFi card to configure on my Dell PC w/ XP or my Dell laptop with Vista. The files load--but it doesn't find it when you look for a connection. I've spent 1-1/2 hours with Verizon's tech support and the ppl at Verizon took my laptop to work with it today for several hours but couldn't find a solution. It must be a setting in my computer. They lowered the firewall on the compuer to load the drivers but that didn't work. They checked the administrator settings. They checked to see that the MyFi was being "seen" by the computer and even were able to install it on another computer so the card is good.
