Look on the computer you plugged it into. They may have been transferred to the user section or the backup for your phone.

turn upside down
hold power button down for 1 min
keep holding power button down as you turn over the laptop

Deleted an app that had pictures in it

Once you delete an app, all of its data is permanently lost.

However, if you still have a backup of your phone (from before you deleted the app), you can plug in your phone, and simply restore from that backup.

Have you tried to unplug, remove battery, plug in, reboot and select the System Restore/Recovery software? You didn't post the HP Model or the OS you are using? I have a Sumsung Restore with Sprint. Text & pictures are supposed to be unlimited but I don't have internet on my phone. I can recieved texts with pics but when I try to send it always asks "do...

Your Samsung Restore needs to connect to allow pictures/video to send to another phone, since picture mail is unlimited because of the plan you have, you should allow your phone to connect to the internet and at the end of the month if you are charged for data call Sprint and explain your situation. They should credit your account any wrong charges and picture mail should be unlimited as your plan allows from then on.
Note:If you really want to nip this in the bud then call Sprint before you send any pictures and politely ask them to make sure you aren't charged.
Hope this helped!

I have a General Electric 27956FE1 1.9 GHz 1-Line Cordless Phone. The screen has gone blank. It doesn't respond to any buttons. Any ideas?

i just called the support number about this. if the screen has gone blank it means all pictures even the default sample pictures have been deleted from the phone. put a memory card with pictures in the phone, unplug the phone to reset, plug it back in and you should be able to get pictures off of the memory card

Shows fully charged (plug icon), but isn't taking a charge. A;ready tried reboot/restore.

Get a can of air and blow it into the 30-pin connector and headphone jack to clear the phone of dust and build-up. This should clear up the problem. I learned this from an Apple Store Genius Bar associate.

Does leaving a cell phone charger plugged in to an outlet at home, without having the phone charging in it,drain energy from your home?

Yes. You are right. Here energy is not the criteria. It is always safe to unplug the charger (when not in use) to prevent the damage of a cell phone due to accidental over load of electricity or short circuits. Moreover Chargers do draw power when plugged in, whether or not a device is actually being charged.
If the charger is plugged in someplace easy to access, like right by where you keep your phone, you should unplug it. But if it would be difficult to have to plug it in every time you need to use it, you'll be fine just leaving it plugged in..and.It still uses energy even when not charging. Any electronic device plugged in a socket uses energy whether it is in use or not.
