SOURCE: Power Calibration Error.

first re install your nero .and
A) Power Calibration is controlled by the recorder. Before any write operation, all recorders must do a 15 step power test to determine the optimum power for writing to the CD; this is called "Optimum Power Calibration"(OPC). And during the write, it continues to do this test to get the best write throughout the whole CD; this is called "Running Optimum Power Calibration" (ROPC). This whole process is controlled by the recorder, though initiated by programs such as Nero. There is an area on the inner part of the CD for the test and test data info to be stored. You can use this area up to 999 times.

So, when you receive the "Power Calibration Error" or "Power Calibration Area full" error message, then the cause will be either poor media, poor Power, or a defective Recorder.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:

1) A might enable the OPC on this medium

2) Try another brand of CDR or CDRW media.

3) Also try different power connectors, and for recorders, do not share power with other devices. It needs its own power connector. If this occurs with an External recorder, the power source in the chassis could be the cause. Take the recorder out of the external chassis, and connect it internal, as a test.

4) Try different configurations, such as taking the CDROM to the Primary IDE bus as Slave, and have only the recorder connected to the Secondary IDE bus as Master.

5) Send the recorder in for Service.

I Hope this helps,

SOURCE: No target appears on the calibration screen

I just got one of these for my 4 yo daughter and had the same problem after 2 days. GOOD NEWS IS IT IS FIXED. The problem was crumbs stuck between the edges of the screen and the frame piece around the edge of the screen. I assume this was creatintg pressure in 2 places at once, confusing the screen/software and not showing a target on the calibration screen.

I used a toothpick to remove the visible crumbs, but if you have a can of compressed air used for computer cleaning, than that might be even a better idea. It seems that screen problems were chronic back in 2004, but no so much now. I learned about this here: http://www.watercoolergames.org/archives/000028.shtml

GOOD LUCK and post back if it works as it is simple and maybe some of the other people with problems have ths same simple issue.

SOURCE: We are getting a E1 code on the display screen.

trace the jumper wire from the speed sensor over to the wiring harness. there is another, unused, wire that could have been connected by accident. The E1 error means the console isn't sensing the belt turning.

How to calibrate the MSA Altair 4

Want to calibrate the MSA Altair 4 Gas Detector or MSA Altair 4X? Here's how:
1. Turn the MSA Altair 4 and MSA Altair 4X on in normal reading mode. Do this by pressing and holding the center button.
2. Once the MSA Altair 4 and MSA Altair 4X is in normal reading mode, you need to send it into calibration mode. Do this by pressing and holding right beeps at you and the screen asks you to zero the monitor (sensor refresh on the MSA Altair 4X).
3. Now that the screen is asking for confirmation, press the center button once to confirm. This will send the monitor into zeroing mode. Now is a good time to set the monitor down, and grab your calibration gas, regulator, and calibration adapter.
4. Open the valve on your regulator. This is a very important step so you do not ruin your calibration gas cylinder. Now screw it in to your calibration gas cylinder. Close the regulator once you hear gas spewing out of it. This is the signal to know your regulator is good to close. Continue screwing in the regulator until it stops. Do not overturn it.
5. Attach the tubing to the hose barb on your regulator. Make sure the tubing is also connected to your calibration adapter.
6. Wait for the screen to come up asking for you to apply calibration gas. Once this screen comes up, press the center button again to confirm. Screw the calibration adapter in to your gas detector. Once it is screwed on, turn on your gas.
7. Make sure your calibration gas values on the screen match what is on your calibration gas cylinder!
8. Once the calibration procedure is completed, turn your gas off and remove the calibration adapter from the MSA Altair 4 or MSA Altair 4X. The screen will go back to normal reading mode within a few seconds.
9. Congratulations! You have officially calibrated your MSA Altair 4 or MSA Altair 4X gas monitor. Make sure to record these readings in your calibration log!

If you come up with an error, the most likely bet is a bad oxygen sensor, but it could be a number of other issues. Feel free to email me.

My tunturi T 20 gets error code E 7. it starts up, and after 5 or 10 seconds, it stops and flashed the error code. I have tried the recommended solution, which is to unplug the treadmill, wait a minute to...

From time to time, error codes will pop up on your treadmill. It just takes a quick second to clear the error log and get the treadmill up and running again.
1.When the treadmill is not in use, press the "Stop," "ENTER" and "QUICK START" buttons in rapid succession. The "RESET" button can also be used, in place of the "Stop" button.
2.Press the "ENTER" button three times to access the treadmill's error log.
3.Press the up or down arrows to scroll through the error codes, if necessary for club or personal logging purposes.
4.To view the treadmill's odometer reading when a particular error code was elicited, press "SELECT" while a particular error code is displayed.
5.To clear the error log, press "QUICKSTART" for a minimum of four seconds while viewing the list. Prompts will appear on the display and let you know when the log has been deleted.
I hope you find it very helpful.

Zebra 4M won't calibrate, keeps trying but never does then read error paper out.

if you open the printhead, you see one red ligth, just moov this lite to the centre of the label and try again, is possible that you need to run the manual calibration from the setings,
Try first to run the SENSOR PROFILE and see if the sensor is cheking the gap. Then run manual calibration. If not work, reset to factory defult.

Open tray error and thensome.

Unreadable disc errors or open tray errors are commonly fixed by pot calibration or laser assembly replacement. Pot calibration is the cheaper of the two, and if it fails and burns out the laser, well, replacing the laser would be the next step anyway.

You shouldn't calibrate the pot without an ohms reader simply because you can burn out the laser, but you CAN wing it. I'd advise doing some searching on DVD Drive pot calibration for the Xbox 360, simply because I don't know which drive you have so I can't help identify anything for you.

I will say you have to disassemble it down until you see the motherboard, take out the DVD drive, open it up, and then calibrate the pot with a very small screwdriver. The location of the pot depends on your drive. If this fails, then buy a new laser assembly and replace it in the drive.

p.s. pot calibration is fancy terminology. There are basically 2 "screws" inside the drive, 1 pot is the DVD/games, and the other is CD. You'll want to very slightly tweak the DVD/games pot until it works, testing with each tweak. You barely need to adjust this "screw" for a significant change to happen. Also, always test with a DVD and then a game. It will read a DVD before a game.

Unable to have prints from xerox 7760 match what is on the monitor

Hello Mary Pat,
We just took delivery of a 7760 and have not even lifted it off of the skid yet. I've been using an EyeOne spectrophotometer for years profiling papers for inkjet printers and Xerox's support of this approach to color management was one of the reasons we bought this printer.
When you say you have calibrated the printer using the calibrations in the machine I assume you are referring to the "visual color calibration" method accessed through the control panel? I do believe that Phasermatch is limited to spectrophotometers.
I'm not familiar with the "visual color calibration" method, but unless it generates a profile for you to apply to your preview loop in your application, I'm not sure how you can benefit much.
How badly do the prints miss your on screen expectations? What application are you using to view the image file?
You can contact me by email if you like.

Error 0F0100030C099F on hp5000

found this maybe can help i dont know
I tried the fix of :
This may be an error finding the mark encoder. The mark encoder is the
white plastic piece on the left end of the roller. Replace the lense cover
first. If the error remains, turn the printer off, and place a piece if black
tape over the hole at the left end of the drive roller, this will block the
mark encoder from the line sensor and should trigger a 010092 error during
power on. When the 010092 error comes up,
press enter to continue past the error. After the printer comes ready, remove
the tape, and run a scan axis calibration.
To run the Scan Axis Calibration:
1. Enter "Device Setup".
2. Enter "Utilities".
3. Press the UP arrow and ENTER keys simultaniously,
4. Select "Yes".
5. Enter "Service Calibrations".
6. Run the "Scan Axis Calibration".
